Im excited first episode was a 7/10 but I was hoping for more action not a depressed Rudy but seeing him get his spark back was wonderful and im looking forward for the rest of S2 PT1

If The Princess wanted a friend so badly she didn't have to lie to Slyphie...Luckily she wasn't angry about that.

Bro I felt so fucking betrayed for Sylphy because in the begining of the episode you can see how excited she was when asking about getting closer to finding her family and Ariel just walked around that knowing she wasn't capable of finding anyone wasting years Sylphy could have used to find them.

Well. Princess Ariel as herself is calm minded. One thing that keep Ariel worried is fact that his brother are trying to take the throne, while Darius (baldhead Antagonist) try to find a Assassin to kill Ariel, ordered by her brother which made a sign that Ariel know that his Brother are trying to kill him.

Tbh she could've accomplished more herself than wasting time being Ariel bodyguard who wasn't making any progress the whole time but couldn't admit it? Rudy wouldn't have made an empty promise like that or even beat around the bush for years.

Nah the princess is a troll. She deceives Sylph. Practically never helps her find her family… preys in Sylphs kindness. Blatantly uses Sylph to get Rudy on her side. If you read the ln/wn… you KNOW 👀 that Ariel is out of line and made Sylph attack her. So yeah, tldr I don’t like the princess

When it comes to explaining Mushoku Tensei stuff AniNews is the best there is.

@@zakkosu727I mean like before a new season of an isekai will drop he'll start from the first season, do a few episodes then drop it and continue from the new season but doesn't finish the stuff before. Like with overlord he started the first few episodes, skipped to season 4 but never finished season 1, 2 and 3 Same with re zero. Did the first few episodes, skippes to season 2 and then never finished the first season

nice recap of the first 4 mins of epsiode 0... the fact they pushed all that into 4 mins is crazy even more so that it worked for the anime

I honestly fell in love with this show so hard it is the only anime I actually started reading the source from I’m on volume 15 chapter 9 within only a couple weeks I can’t wait to see them animate this it gets so hype and honestly sylphy is easily my fav

Let us align the timelines. Since everyone was caught in the teleportation incident. Sylphy /Fitz arrived in Asura vis falling from the sky. Landing in the Lily garden. Episode zero has a bit of a timeskip build in. While Rudy and Eris are in the beastman forest Eris's grandfather is sacrificed for the teleportation incident. Note in Season 1 Ariel, Luke and Fitz attend that event. Thus that was 1 year and a half after the incident while Rudy, Eris and Ruijerd were in the beast tribe village. This season 1 part 2 episode 3. That event happened before the assassination attempt that made Ariel decide to leave. Feel free to consider this material for the next cut content of episode 0.

Honestly kind of a missed opportunity for them to not quickly show us Sauros' execution again from Sylphie's perspective to neatly tie the timelines together.

400 years without any kind of war, or famine is actually massively impressive, when you consider how much can change in that time period

I'm so glad you're covering Ariel's backstory, she's one of my favorite characters from the novels. So hyped for Season 2!

Honestly loved the video but a few mistakes. 1) Kaunis Freean Asura was male, not female, this was confirmed In volume 14 2) The kingdom of Asura has a history of ~7000 years. it was implied in volume 22 of the light novel. ( When Immortal demon king Atoferatofe Rybak's servant told Rudeus about her) 3) Grabell Zafin Asura knows she is the daughter of the true queen. and he is the son of a concubine. (he says so in the episode)

Day 92 of asking for a grand assassin Hassan servant review

I would argue that there's enough shown in the anime up to episode 0 of season 2 to deduce who Luke is, or at the very least his full name. Also, something that speaks to Asura's wealth, that wasn't mentioned in the anime, its coins were valued much higher than the equivalent of other countries (iirc it was about 10/1)

I feel like anime onlys won't see the significance of this arc for years to come... But if some anime onlys are curious, then feel free to scroll down: SPOILERS 1. Basically, the 2nd Laplace War is almost guaranteed to happen 80 years later (the setting of the Mushoku Tensei sequel). 2. Based on Orsted's previous time loops, Asura Kingdom endures and survives Laplace's initial but brutal offensive attacks but only IF Ariel becomes the queen. If Grabel or some other person becomes the King, Orsted witnesses the ruins of Asura and its lands decimated by Laplace's forces of demons and dragons. 3. Asura Kingdom becomes one of Orsted's best chess pieces into defeating Laplace and the Man-God.

The stress of using so much mana. Like how people thay work too hard and gray-hair faster then their peers or go bald faster. Or if you work out too much you bleed from the over exertion. She had a lot of mana and was using it all just to not die from the fall she went white hair. It is also why she fell asleep as soon as she was safe on the ground.

when you empty out your mana pool quickly in this world your hair turns white, the reason it's permanent is likely stress/trauma related from the fact that she was falling from very high in the sky

@@shinzomagus redues used his magic not to a point of exhaustion but rather just tiredness. In this moment she basically went beyond her mana bar's 0 and started damaging herself with the mana usage. Like how a fighter in a desperate fight might not notice they tore the muscles in their arm until after they event.

It's kinda interesting how the Ideology that Peace and Prosperity lead to Weakness and Corruption (a complete Inversion of Reality) has become almost a staple in Isekai World building. Overlord also made it the central plot point of three seasons now.

That's how it goes. When countries prosper without any conflict, the current soldiers and generals won't have any experiences of real war. The weakening military forced the kingdom to hire mercenaries, which'll eventually staged coup.

We would have none of the context of what was happening to her all this time and it would be really weird, especially when the canon written light novel explains all of these things before we get to see her again.

I have to say, the displayment of people is terrifying for the individuals who dont have any real world experience. But this episode showing a giant monster placed onto the middle of a peace filled area would be horrifying. Had that thing fell into town, who knows how long the rampage would have gone on before someone capable would have been able to stop it

I’m not sure why Ariel’s age wasn’t mentioned, so I looked it up. It bothered me only knowing the two guys & not hers. So she was like twelve at the time right? They were all hella young. How old was Rudy then? Sylphie was a year younger than Rudy no, Eris a year older? As a whole, I’m enjoying season 2 thus far.🇺🇦🇭🇹🇾🇪
