That’s always been there formula and increasingly so over a decade now

Had the privilege of seeing this band live, I highly recommend them to everyone the show itself is a spectacle to behold. They put an amazing amount of effort into it. The music itself was traditional Muse in that it was best experienced live. A blend of new and old that had the crowd on its feet, cheering, and chanting the lyrics. I would highly recommend people buy tickets to see this show its worth every dime.

I don’t care what critics say about this song. I’ve been to a Muse’s concert and if they need a song to vibe with the crowd, this is definitely one of those: simple riffs, banging drums, chanting lyrics, just endless jumping in the crowd and I love it. Granted it’s not one of those technically marvelous song, but a fun song to rock to Edit: Now that the Will Of The People tour is over, this song is gonna get phased away and pretty much no one wants to see it live again for better suited songs, including myself. But my opinion about this song is unchanged, but it's the trend of any bands on a promotional tour of their new materials, so least performing songs won't be kept

How can the writer of space dementia, micro cuts and citizen erased come up with a song this bad. This wouldn't even be a good song for justin bieber. You need to stop letting Matt go with a slap on the wrist. The video is good but the song is uninteresting and VERY repetitive. I don't think Matt even cares anymore. This is so overtly commercial that I think the soundtracks for the worse Adam Sandler movies feer more like art. Hope you did well on your math test.

Given Matt's previous fascination with conspiracy theories I think it's pretty safe to say which it is. I'm glad that there's no particular ones mentioned though because some of that crap en vogue today really is batshit crazy and it would be hard to listen to without cringing in that case.

Beautiful People has completely different riff chords and is probably in minor while this one is major, so it sounds different. But the intro is almost identical. And sounds like a tribute to Marlyn Manson. .. then someone mentioned "Summertime Blues" edit. But i just checked out Summertime Blues. And I disagree with that. That is to far fetched. The vocals are pretty different.

Muse always comes with something different. You don't know what to expect from these guys.

i have an idea for a real mind blowing opening. the will of the people chant comes up. matt dom and chris come on stage wearing those creepy masks from compliance. they take their places. they play will of the people. maybe one more and when it's time to yell hello to the town they are in "dom" stands up from the drums and rips his mask off showing it's really matt. them it shows dom was playing the bass and chris was playing guitar.

@@fabianmorales4104 soy fan de Muse desde el 98…pero independiente del gusto de cada uno (respetable al 100%), este último tema no alcanza ni de lejos al nivel que creo que poseen, que es superlativo. Les seguiré apoyando, pero para mi parecer han olvidado completamente lo que es hacer rock. Está muy bien investigar, pero a veces el resultado no tiene porque ser bueno.

It must be intentional! 😉 they know how to create resemblances without having to (brazenly) copy other artists, and thats cool. Also, the song itself has absolutely nothing to do with Manson's except for that specific line that repeats "the will of the people" 🤷🏻‍♂️ Definitely a groovy song, I love the riff and the final part, as well🤘

Most people don't know CAD or animation that well. A lot of those are drafting terms as well. Edit: dude rendering probably took a full month. Hahaha.

André Mascarenhas I agree, Simulation Theory was more like a „take a breath“. If Muse would only do music that they are supposed to do by their fans, they had probably not recorded that album. But they are truly themselves, composing by heart and not by expectation.

@@andreffmascarenhas Simulation Theory is my 3rd top album, followed by Showbiz (RIP Absolution which is great but too sad vibes for me...). BHaR and OoS 1st and 2nd switching places constantly. So about ST: Break it to me, Algorithm, The Dark Side, Blockades, Pressure, Something Human (the acoustic version), Thought Contagion... So many good songs in it to call it weak.. I'm sure it will be appreciated more in the future. Also remember how much hate BHaR recieved when it first came out, but how well it grew on us after a few years. ;)

The first time I listened to this I was like "okay, kinda catchy but a bit all over the place" but after a few hours I noticed it started to play in my head and I just had to listen to it once again. This is probably my 100th time now

I almost exclusively listened to muse for years growing up, and then they showed themselves to be tools of the elite. It hurts a little bit to see how far away from their initial themes they've fallen. Money must corrupt something fierce.

While I suppose you can consider the last 15 years of Muse as “progressing” for being more consumable for the masses, I consider their sound a huge digression from the beautiful chaos of their first four albums (Origin of Symmetry is a masterpiece). After Black Holes and Revelations, their music became increasingly predictable, vocals too polished, and overall less interesting. I do admire their talent and creativity, but in this video the dummy Antifa imagery is a real eye-roller.

This live is going to be an absolute banger!
