​@knuclear200x Wrong. During the first few months of covid pandemic the homeless issue was actually fixed when we put all the homeless in vacant hotels. Right after covid stops we threw them back on the street. So homelessness was fixed for like a year or so

One of the most lifelike murals I've ever seen, especially one so big and spread out like that. Dudes definitely a really good artist in my book.👏👍

City needs to get its priorities straight , especially in Vernon/commerce area , that part of the city is ROTTING AWAY, I have to drop my gf off to work there and I worry for her safety even with an armed guard and a gate , the homeless are right outside the gate living like it’s blade runner or some dystopia

The permit is what the city is mad about. Nobody asked the citys permission or paid them money. They need to name names in these complaints. Name the complainers...... give them some spotlight.

So the mural is a problem but the crime and the homeless is ok. I'm signing the petition today, good looking out.

You can only have murals like that in Watts, Compton, Lynwood, downtown LA. They should’ve done the research before hand.

In the city of LA, there are numerous murals on buildings facing the street. And how is this different than billboards facing the street? Those are designed to distract you.

Complains are usually from wypipo, the result of gentrification.

The mural apparently is more important than the escalating crime, homelessness and rampant drug dealing in their neighborhoods.

Simply pass a law and "variance" so the mural can stay in that unique and universal spot. But no other may be created on main streets. This one is different. It's done. Keep it.

I don't know about that. I live in one of the roughest neighborhoods in Long Beach and we have 2 Kobe murals on liquor stores here. It's been a couple of years and they haven't been tagged up or defaced at all. I think they now how to show respect
