I had this happen before, someone left a dog out in the streets of SF, when we decided to take care of her, she had a brain tumor that was incurable and we watched her slow decay. She was super sweet and it was nice for her to die knowing she was loved

Thankful for the hikers who found this good boy. He deserves to live out the rest of his life in comfort.

I thank God that he's found by a good person.

A wide plank of wood could serve as a bridge. Hooray! That same plank of wood can be made into a spear and used by an evil person to kill someone. God has given man free will -- to use the wooden plank for good or evil. Similarly, to use the internet for good or evil. The Bible instructs me to pray for those in need. I often ask God to help animals.

My Dog was just yesterday diagnosed with a heart murmur and two lumps which need excising and biopsies (but she needs to be sure to have strong enough heart to be anesthetized), I will absolutely be with her to the end. She is between my arms sleeping as I type this. I hope the same can happen for this pup.

I think he really needs a caring foster/adoption like you- ESPECIALLY if he has cancer. Love is the only thing that really heals. What will they give him for 'treatment', I wonder? Poisons/chemo, which will likely kill him? That said, UPenn did a study (anyone can google it) showing that a certain kind of mushroom was effective in eliminating canine lymphoma- with NO side effects. I hope that this vet is resourceful in investigating treatments that 'do no harm'.

Luckily there are 2 rescue organizations (In Defense of Animals & Peace 4 Animals) that are willing to cover his medical costs and will place him in foster home as soon as he gets the ok from a vet so that he hopefully doesn't have to be euthanized 🤞🏽🤞🏽

How cruel. GSDs are the most affectionate and loyal dogs you can get. I've had 3, all rescues. I lost my last GSD boy to old age 4 years ago. He was 14. Never a day goes by that I don't think of him. I miss him every day and wish he was still here. I hope this poor boy can be helped and finds a family that will truly love him and give him the life he deserves.

I’ve never seen a more depressed pup. His ears are even drooping. Sitting there thinking “why did they leave me out here? What did I do wrong” Poor baby. I hope to god they find the owner.
