I used to eat there every Sunday for 5-1/2 years, 1976-82. Dal odli used to be my favourite along with poha. You have for got to show Manis near Ruia college.

You get sweet sambar in all these matunga eateries

I wish I will visit this place when I come to Mumbai. Ur voice is nice and sweetly explained. Pl. Check if a dish called Chou Chou bath and bisi Bella bath r available? Both r from Kannada may be available in some Udupi restaurants along with setdosa also.

All are at Matunga central railway east

Most of the matunga outlets serve sambar which is mixed with jaggery to cater to Gujarati marwari customers. Hence not authentic as you say

Everyone has their preferences however the south indian food served here is authentic, lets not limit to sambar..

Tuppa means ghee n not dosa n ur bit will b obviously high cos u ate ghee idli n ghee dosa. Ghee ka paisa kon dega. Just comparing bill is Stu...dness

Hey geeta .. yes ghee is tuppa.. Every outlet in matunga we visited were great in their style. Bills are added only to give an idea about the cost. Even if ghee is added to food taste, quantity does matter. Looking at a video as comparison video could b disrespectful for these legendary outlets.

@@mountainstocoast8558 u pay to quality over quantity. U don't know what kind of rice, urad n material they r using. U should have asked the owner why they r costlier than other cafes. Public goes even though it's bit high cos they kno the difference. I loved watching ur video but u want to prove u r right. U r looking like a promoter of a cafe from our side as a viewer. I told u as a viewer. It's upto u where u want to correct. 🙏
