You know what. George cheated on his wife, and Jimmy was born. Jimmy didn't know his father. He didn't have a complete family and as a result he became jealous of Leonard and started bullying him.

Everyone's talking about how Leonard's bully is Sheldon's dad but no one has mentioned that Leonard grew up in New Jersey so it's a bit odd that his bully has a Texas accent.

I understand the timeline Leonard's bully later repented for bullying Leonard as he found a timemachine. He traveled to past and changed his name to George Cooper and married Mary. He had a younger son Sheldon who became best friend of Leonard.

Oh look. Sheldon's dad is here. But he doesn't recognise him. Lol!

I had a broken window in my car a few years back. Working at the auto glass shop was a former bully of mine from high school. We talked sports while he worked - we were on opposing teams in a local league - and when he had finished he stated that the replacement window and his work was on the house. There was no mention of his bullying of a few years before, much less an apology. But, at the same time, I always viewed it as a sign that both of us had grown up.

I too was bullied by some of my classmates.. but it never haunted me.. i felt bad for some days or may be years.. but now m over it.. till i get depressed again.. then it'll all come back.. 😃

As funny as this was, there is an interesting psychological principle here.. Sheldon "took up an offense" on behalf of Leonard.. and as is sometimes the case, when Leonard forgave the bully, Sheldon was stuck with being offended.. not just by the bully, but by Leonard forgiving him.. This happens more often than you might expect. The offended person forgives the offender, and the offended person's best friend is stuck with bitterness.. and sometimes is upset with their friend for forgiving the guy.

Sheldon you do not do that to your father! Lol 😆

proof that comedy is just comedy. I grew up being the little guy in elementary school who was the easiest victim of bullies (I was the favourite target). Now a full grown man, I have no grudge and my "has been" bullies and I laugh at those days when we bump into each other... They are good men now.
