Was Muhammad literate or not? According to Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 114, it would seem that Muhammad may in fact have known how to read and write: "Narrated 'Ubaidullah bin `Abdullah: Ibn `Abbas said, "When the ailment of the Prophet (ﷺ) became worse, he said, 'Bring for me (writing) paper and I will write for you a statement after which you will not go astray.' But `Umar said, 'The Prophet is seriously ill, and we have got Allah's Book with us and that is sufficient for us.' But the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) differed about this and there was a hue and cry. On that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to them, 'Go away (and leave me alone). It is not right that you should quarrel in front of me." Ibn `Abbas came out saying, "It was most unfortunate (a great disaster) that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was prevented from writing that statement for them because of their disagreement and noise."" @@IslamicOrigins for the so called "Cross" you will never find it during the first 200AD era of Christianity simply because according to the Scripture The word used in the Scripture is Tree.(The Bible is a TRANSLATION of the Scriptures.) The original word used in the original Greek Scripture is staurÕ, which may mean a pole, or a stake, or the word xylou, which means tree. The ONLY Old Testament Scripture that prophesied the way Christ would die (Deuteronomy 21:23), uses the Hebrew word הָעֵ֗ץ yn˙oy (spelt in Roman alphabets as hã-‘ês) which is the Hebrew word for tree. So good luck in finding and preserving the true cross that doesn't exist!!

Regarding the Tokapi manuscript, there doesn't seem to be any erasures or corrections in the folios you are looking at. What you're most likely seeing is simply text and verse symbols that have faded. [Its worth noting that Brubaker - the person who's well known for documenting corrections - only claims to have found 25 corrections after consulting the facsimile edition of it. Some of these are corrected by the original scribe, have to do with orthography etc.] The genuinely of relics is very often questionable. There's little doubt that most, if not all, of these relics can't be attributed to the Prophet. I would also recommend visiting the Turkish Museum of Islamic Arts. Haven't visited it myself, but I suspect there are genuine early materials there - and there definitely are many Quranic manuscripts earlier than the Topkapi manuscript there.

@@I9s7lam5is-S3tu1pid there is a difference between quoting a verse that you know by heart and WRITING an entire book.
