Much respect for Mugsy ....dude has always been classy from what I have witnessed......

What a humble honest inspirational man.

Muggsy is a man's man. You notice that no one in the comments has a bad thing to say about him. At 5' 3"he excelled at a game that's vertical goal is literally twice his height. All he did was play hard and and fearlessly against the odds night after night. They don't make them like that anymore.

As a Winston Salem native, who remembers Mugsy when he played here at Wake Forest, I can say he was unbelievable. He could beat everyone from end to end while he was dribbling and they sprinted full speed. A Human Blur.

Muggsy Bogues is a good dude. It's refreshing to see somebody who beat the odds to make it to the NBA still embrace the game and give love back to those who are playing today.

Seems like a humble and positive person.

Muggy, you’re the inspiration that helped Steph start his path to greatness when he was little.

Mugsy was such an inspiration when we were kids growing up. Glad to see him alive and looking healthy.

Steph is far from small. Hes 6 foot 3. Hes taller than average men

to all young hoopers! if you can play they will find you.

Muggsy is one proud Unc! Their story should be a reminder for us to be kind and inspire all the people we meet along our journey. Who knows that that 5 yo skinny kid will soon one day be a multiple champion, multiple MVP.

Those schools were idiotic. I grew up in Charlotte and remembered seeing Steph play in high school. He was a beast then. But most importantly I remember when we played in the same youth basketball league as Seth and Steph, Sonya and Dell were at every game. A great and phenomenal family from the Queen City!

@@brickjamez1 Oh wow, that's insane. He was scary at like 13 years old or so, natural ability. Ah okay Charlotte Stars. Charlotte Nets was the AAU squad back when Jeff McInnis was running the city, before going to Oak Hill. I think Justin Gray played with the Charlotte Nets too.

Beautiful! I had an opportunity to go to Davidson, in 1968. When Lefty Driesell was, the coach. Then it was 1000 boys, and no girls. But not why I didn't go. Scored enough on the SAT, over 1000. But went to Florida State, instead. We went to NCAA finals, in 1972. Because of my experience there. I rooted for Steph. When his Davidson team. Made it to the NCAA tournament.
