    Dude, this is undoubtedly the best Madara that I've seen. His animations are so worked out that you can't take your eyes off. I am already looking forward to the future demonstration of his Katon: Goka Mekkyaku and Mokuton Hijutsu: Jukai Koutan, as well as the rest of his arsenal.

    @@om_Hy You're doing a great job. By the way will there be ways to get creative with his combos and moves in order to create 50-100%HP damage combo videos? I feel like most naruto mugen games/characters are missing ways to extend or reset the string without dropping the combo in order to deal more damage and get creative. I'm not sure who the creator is of some of the naruto characters i have played were, but i know some i have played that can do a dash hit stun that has allowed me to get a little creative with combos but not every character has been able to do it very well or at all. I'm sure the creators of these characters would be happy seeing people create combo videos or even mastering the characters that they made. It'll also bring more attention and love to the mugen community. I'm not very good at games like fighterZ, so i find a beauty in some of the modern naruto mugen characters that can be played very simply. Hopefully there will be potential for combo creativity as well to add more replay value. There is something so fulfilling about being able to start a combo that you can get creative with without dropping it , and then string it into something that will not only take do considerable damage but also end your opponent in style.

    It's still a work in progress, and your words are enough to motivate me. While Madara requires the most work I've ever done, I don't have the same amount of time as before, and I'm not investing as much personal time into creating the character as I used to.     This looks amazing! I can't stop to be impressed by how cool and unique your characters are! However I have one concern. Sasuke and Itachi had some cool aerial jutsu while Minato can't do anything while in the air. I hope Madara will return with some cool aerial stuff

    I also feel sorry for Minato's lack of aerial jutsu. I thought of aerial jutsu, but nothing came to mind. Maybe? I was lazy.. 😧 I'm thinking of updating the characters later. Minato isn't going to be a big update target, but he'll have aerial jutsu. Madara is, you don't have to worry.

    Yo OmHy, hope everything's been when well. It's nice to get an update on Madara's gameplay it's been awhile. As always the quality's up there. I'm going to give my opinion on each thing shown individually including what you showed in preview+. The first combo you showed (which I'm assuming is the 'A' combo) looks good but I was wondering if it's complete because it looks like it'd fit more with Revived Madara as you said he's more taijutsu based. There wasn't usage of any weapons or jutsus so while I know it's probably just the first combo I was thinking the lack of jutsus or weapon usage was more reminiscent of his revived form regardless. For his first special I think it's great and original. My opinions are I think the bottom of the blade's sprpriority should be higher than the enemy's sprpriority while the top part of the blade's sprpriority will be lower than the enemy's(the reverse of what it currently is). Also I think it's weird how the hand dissapears suddenly with no effect but also that it dissapears while Madara is rising with his susano aura which I think is a bit off. What I'd suggest is having an effect appear when the hand dissapears as well as having the hand last as long as he's rising with the aura. You could even have the enemy rise higher by the sword whilst Madara is rising up himself as shown in the clip. I also suggest a hole around where Madara rises. The "disc" throw is good, I'm guessing if used close to the wall the enemy will either smash into it or bounce off the wall. Hoping you can confirm that. I like your representation of the Gunbai, the effect is spot on (guessing it's custom). It's actually possible to make it represent the anime even more, you can use a reversaldef to make it so enemy projectiles fall to the floor and dissapear. If you want insight on how to replicate this here's a link on how to reflect projectiles: mugenguild.com/forum/topics/tutorial-%E9%A3%9B%E3%81%B3%E9%81%93%E5%85%B7%E3%82%92%E8%B7%B3%E3%81%AD%E8%BF%94%E3%81%97%E6%96%B9%E6%B3%95-projectile-reflection-178433.0.html. I understand if you don't find this necessary as it'd only be more visually pleasing than anything else but the possibility is there. Aside from that I was wondering if you'll incorporate the other uses of Gunbai either through charging this special (holding down on the pressed input) or maybe pressing an input after the initial activation of the special, or maybe reserve them for his revived form. The other uses of Gunbai being the reflection, where in my head there could be three levels, if the attack damage of the reflected move is 50 or less there'd only be a burst of wind, if it's between 50-100 then it'd have a bigger burst of wind alongside some debris(rocks) and 100 or more could have all of those alongside resembling an explosion like when he used it against Naruto's mini bijuu bomb. You can get the data of the enemies hitdef by having an invisible helper with a hitoverride, then you can use different "gethitvar" triggers to get the information of the hitdef to scale the Gunbai's reflection. With that you can even replicate and return the exact damage of the move by using "gethitvar(damage)". The last thing Gunbai can do is with a swing create powerful gusts of wind, just wondering if that will be implemented or not. The susano punch looks really good, I like the susano sprites and the susano doesn't dissapears suddenly, it has an effect to represent it dispersing as well as a sound effect. I also remember this susano, it was really only shown for intimidation and yes the most notable thing are the tentacles. I'm interested to see what you will do with them. Now the armor break, I like the first combo here it fits well with what he's shown to do as well as your plan for this state. The first special is really cool but I have some suggestions. Instead of a long pause I think you can have it so when he appears Infront of the enemy the pause ends but just as shown in the anime dust appears that can stun the enemy before Madara lands the kick. Now I understand this could make the move easier to block so I actually think the move should be unguardable given the spin Madara does before landing the kick I think it'd make sense. So the only way to avoid the move would be to jump away or to perform some form of dash/dodge. I really like the counters he has in this form. First off the susano block, my suggestion is once again using reversaldef(it's just really good for counters) to freeze the projectiles in place and then have him knock the projectiles away(they would get hit by the frame of him swinging his hand instead of by the initial block as of current). As for the limbo counter ,which I really like, I think it's perfect, I like the sensation of there being nothing and then for a second you see the limbo clone. Really good. Another blade throw but this time it's a boomerang, looks good. My suggestion is I think it'd be nice if you implement your "condition system" here. Basically you would split the move into two parts. First part is Madara would throw the blade and it would simply pierce the enemy and stun them then the blade would dissapear after awhile like it did to Shukaku, that'd be considered a fail. The second part which would be considered successful is if Madara throws the blade but it misses it comes back as a boomerang and it does what it currently does in the video. The same thing could happen if it's thrown but gets stuck in the wall of the stage. Now "preview+" which is another counter, I really like it's implementation, only thing I have to say is I think Madara's sprpriority should be higher than the enemy's so you can see his hand. This got me interested though, there are a lot of counters in this form which makes sense since it's melee based but Madara is more offensive than defensive so I'm wondering if that's due to lack of ideas for specials. If I'm not wrong and all these counters are individual specials and you're not out of ideas it's actually possible to make them all into one special because of how distinct they are. What would happen is you activate the special and Madara stands there, if the enemy throws a projectile then he blocks with the susano hand, if the enemy tries to land an air attack then they get countered by limbo and if the enemy tries to hit with a melee attack then they get countered as shown in "preview+". I think that'd be a great way to fit all the counters into one special and it's possible through using reversaldef to check the attributes(attr) of the opponents hitdef. Those are my thoughts on everything, I hope it'll translate clearly. I'm really looking forward to what you'll do with both moves teased at the end of the video, you already showed the katon skill in your Uchiha skills video so I'm looking forward to any improvements it might have. I'm also interested in how you'll do the mokuton skill compared to others. Overall if you can't already tell by this long wall of text I'm really excited for the character as a whole and looking forward to what you'll do with it moving forward.     Holy... you wrote a paper. First of all thank you for the opinions of staggering length. 1. Combo There is one principle I set while creating the character. that is not to include it in a combo if it is used as a jutsu. I think these choices make the jutsu more fresh and unique. For ex: combo x finishing amaterasu. (and jutsu having an amaterasu) This feels insincere to me, and the big drawback of the Storm series is that it has a lot of jutsu in the combo. There wasn't much that was implemented with jutsu. in the case of my jonin Minato, a rasengan is included at the end of the A combo. In this case, when I have no choice but to compromise when I have no more ideas or nothing more to inspire. The root cause of this is Armor Break mode. With the introduction of Armor Break mode, a total of eight combos, including aerial combos, must be woven. Jutsu's should also not overlap as much as possible, except for the main Jutsu of the character. This is the hellish part for me when creating characters.     4. Gunbai There are many interesting things. As far as I know, mechanisms such as projectile reflection are only compatible with characters that have the same code.     7. Susanoo hand block & limbo counter The reversaldef command has been used mostly for counters, but rarely for barriers. I remember that it was probably used for Itachi's Yata mirror. I wonder what it feels like to use it. I will not forget to test it later. The Limbo clones were intended to be seen as half a pace behind. Not when the clones catch(hit) it, but after catch(hit) it. I was a bit worried about this, but I'm glad it seems to work as intended. 8. blade (boomerang) I did not consider the conditional system of this. Because this technique hit Gaara even though Shukaku, the symbol of defense, sincerely tried to protect Gaara. I think I managed to get all my points across clearly without it feeling intimidating or too drawn out so I'm glad you appreciate it. 1. Combo I agree, I also don't like when attacks used in combos are reused for specials as that ruins the variety of the character's moveset. I just think Madara has an arsenal big enough to where he could have combo only attacks that aren't taijutsu based. Like using his weapons in specific unorthodox ways or using subtle wood style and even his visual prowess(both rinnegan and sharingan since we know he's able to switch between them). 2. The First Special That's what I think as well, glad you agree. 3. The "Disc" Throw I understand, I was just wondering if the possibility was there as it'd be a great addition. In a way I guess it'd be similar to the fail/success mechanic as if it gets the enemy stuck in the wall and you're close by you could start a combo. 4. Gunbai You're right, originally that was the case but the code was updated to be universal. You can find it in the KFM on the second page of this thread: mugenguild.com/forum/topics/improved-kfm-explodsive-buffering-180770.0.html. About Minato that makes a lot of sense, while the pose works for the bijuu dama I can see how it was meant for the reflector(funny how the move he reflected with that stance became the move he used himself). If you experiment with this I'm sure you'd consider adding it to Minato again, that move and increased attack speed would help his character. Also strayed off topic lol... I'm aware you're more use to the charge input than the latter I mentioned. In order to add all three into one special my idea is you do the initial command and Madara stands there with the Gunbai in his hand, if you press A he does the shield, B he does the reflector, and C he does the swing for wind. If you don't choose anything then he'd just return back to state 0. 5. Susanoo Tentacles Yeahh it's kinda hard to think of the uses it could have but I could try to help. It's shown as a shield against Hashirama but Madara has other alternatives for shields. First thing is he could use the tentacles to grab the enemy while he does a katon from the susanoo's mouth like he did in that other susanoo form against the 5 kage. Second is he could use them to throw many rocks like Itachi does. Third, and this one is more head canon, he could create blades inside the tentacles and make a giant 'X' slash that breaks guard and covers the ground and air. 6. Armor Break First Special (Kick) I completely agree with that fact, I understand that while we might've discussed the idea and have come to an agreement to others it might be seen as an awkward interaction and without expressing it in a clear way they might think it's a bug. I think your idea of using palfx is great, maybe also some dust patches covering their body alongside have them being pushed back a bit to show that the force of Madara's sudden arrival Infront of them brought enough force to stun them with dust. I also understand wanting to keep it simple, I think this is a decent mix of simple with a slight bit of complexity/creativity. 7. Susanoo Hand Block & Limbo Counter Yes it's intended use is for counters but barriers can also benefit from it's involvement. Yeah the limbo clone counter is great, I really like the idea behind it and I think you did a pretty good job at representing it. 8. Blade (Boomerang) That's why I think the condition system fits it as even though it was blocked/got stuck it still managed to make it's way to Gaara and so I think the condition system could replicate that same concept. I understand if that's not the decided practicality of the move however. 9. Preview+ Actually yes I agree you're completely right, he's an "all round" character that has an attack/counter for practically everything. You're right, while it'd be nice to have the universal functionality could be ruined by others not setting their attrs correctly. I do think however that using the attrs isn't to choose what type of attacks to counter necessarily but rather which counter should happen, so it's the same counters just conditions for when they should appear. So any unintended interactions could still happen regardless of whether they're put together or not. I didn't realize it's not only defensive, I'm guessing the second motion can do damage then. That's interesting, if I'm understanding correctly that means the Limbo counter can appear randomly as a "passive ability". Correct me if I'm wrong. The End Once Again It's great to hear that you found the opinions to be helpful as I did try to make the text detailed and clear as possible. I do understand that you have a path with the character you want to follow and that not everything can be done, I understand that even more so as a coder myself now so I tried to make my suggestions as reasonable as possible while giving examples if I find it necessary.
