Your Chinese ginger jar/wine /spice jar was made in this style from the Ming dynasty up to the late Ching in the provincial style otherwise made for the home markets. Many of these jars never had a lid, they would have had a wooden bung with a cloth & wax seal. I have collected oriental ceramics for over 40 years. But now I'm housebound & your channel saw me through the bleak days of the Pandemic, I thank you & all the other Mud-larkers who kept me sane God bless & thank you.

I, too, found these marvelous ladies during lockdown of the pandemic and aren't we all so lucky and richer for it! Discovery was one of the very, VERY good things to come out of that period. Especially when collectors, enthusiasts and specialists share their knowledge.😊 I wish you many marvelous adventures through the universe of the internet. ~West Virginia, USA.

My sentiments exactly, almost heroes in my book. I can't imagine how much joy they all were sharing with the rest of us during those couple years. They are why I started a channel of my own, to repay as many smiles as I can with the wildlife on our property here in Oregon, USA.
The tea cup is such a remarkable survivor I think it should go in the window of wonders. ❤

I love how you turn the tiniest finds into history lessons and honor the life of someone gone so long ago. Have a blessed day!❤from 🇺🇲
The tiny panel bottle was shovelled out by us, we recognised our usual spot beside the huge bramble bush lol Some really nice finds you got there. We are heading out there again tomorrow, just can't stay away 😊

How fun and marvelous, enjoy your day and wish you a great day of finds.
Fascinating that you found a Colgate product, PRE-toothpaste! I didn’t know that they started with anything, other than toothpaste. Thanks for looking up the history…it’s very cool! I’d like for the doll head and the figurine with headless cow in the window, so they can see the sun ⛅️, after being buried for so long.😅👍 Great digging, Gail and Alex! You both have eyes like eagles!
Hello from Ukraine 🖐️😊 Video very, very good ❤😊👍 My Super Big Like for your my dear friend 😊👍
The Dr.Erdmann swing stopper is definitely German. Love all the finds! Especially the little bone China teacup. This one deserves a place in the window of wonders.
So much negative and difficult has happened in recent weeks, divorce and death in the family. I have sat here and cried my eyes red and swollen. Then I come here and get peace of mind. The joy you show at your discoveries gives me joy and I rejoice with you. Thank you very much for your good mood and creative abilities, you are treasures on this planet. Wishing everyone reading a very Merry Christmas!
I don't care how old your videos are, I find every one of them intriguing. You find some of the absolute best items. Those beads 😍
You could make the pudding doll into a Mermaid! If you wanted to! X
Great finds as always! The teacup would be lovely in the window. It’s so beautiful and unbelievable that it held up! ❤

Yes, I agree! Perhaps Gail and Alex make it some new legs?
The Chinese Ginger Jar is a very beautiful addition to the window of wonder. Its subtle colors are soft and so typical of chinese home wares that were for local use, not trades.
You are my favorite channel of all time. I love your adventures, the cinematography, the history lessons, your energy when you find something unexpectedly delightful. But most of all I love your relationship and how you share your love for mudlarking together. ♥ Thank you for taking us along.
I like the teacup for surviving in one piece, yet my favourite find was the beautiful lady head & trunk. Once cleaned she stood out as a fine piece made well by a craftsman or crafts woman.
Ohhh what a treat this was, the ginger jar will make a wonderful craft looking forward to seeing how you transform it. As always love the history behind the finds, thank you both 🧡

Well Alex, "lend me your ear/s"! To heck with Ceasar👍
I always look so forward to your videos. Your cheerfulness and appreciation for your finds make the journey so much fun. I love the things you collect and make. You have such keen and artistic eyes, I know that whatever you bring home will either be transformed into something with great charm and beauty, or simply be so happy to be useful and admired again! Thank you for such uplifting content!
Love that big ginger pot, I hope you do make something with it, but the tiny blue ink and tiniest panel bottle are the best bottles! I think you need to set that pudding doll into silver and make it into a mermaid tail...
Hi. From USA West Virginia. Gail you look so healthy and happy. Your daughter always looks beautiful.
Yaaaay! My girls are on! That ginger jar was much larger than I thought. What great finds. I’m a caretaker for my husband who has Alzheimers. You girls bring me so much joy! Thank you for sharing your adventures!!!
The tiny blue bottle is so pretty , it has to be my favorite find of that day .

Hello how are you doing?
love that tiny bottle at the beginning!!.. idk why but i just have a special place in my heart for absurdly small bottles
The wee little bird sitting on the wee little blue bottle needs to go in the window. Gail love your hair. I wish we had dumps we could hunt here. Yall are amazing.
So many wonderful treasures but I think the tea cup as it's an absolute miracle that it survived even the gilding on it is still virtually perfect my other favourite is the dolls head with its piercing blue eyes.
I used COLGATE TOOTHPASTE when I was much younger! Thank You for the memory of this, HISTORY.
So lucky to have a mom who shares an interest with you. My mom thinks all my collections are rubbish
Each time you find an ear it reminds me of the movie called " Robinhood men in tights ". When he says something like," friends, countrymen, comrades Lend me your ears " & many of them pluck off an ear & chuck them at Robin. Haha
I'll just stop by to say hello back, then settle down to watch you getting down and dirty😉😂
The cup and the big grey and blue crockery are my picks for the window ♥️♥️♥️
"can't go wrong with a little pot." 🤣 I'd wear a oece of jewelry with that quote on it!
My friend Nick who is a sarge in the US army regularly discuss this channel on the weekends. I feel like I'm involved in a tale told by Charles Dickens. thanks girls, such a fun channel / craft!

HI GAIL AND ALEX!! I LIKE THE JAPANESE JAR AND THE TEA CUP FOR THE WINDOW OF WONDERS. I LOVE THE PORCELAIN GIRL WITH PART OF A COW. LOVE ALL THE TINY BOTTLES SO CUTE AND SWEET. BEAUTIFUL COLOURS. THANKS FOR SHARING AND PLEASE STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY THANKS ❤️ 🙏❤️🙏
I would put the beautiful teacup and the tiny blue bottle on display, I think it is amazing that you found a whole clay pipe despite its feet being missing, they bring the past into the present as do the damaged ones do, there must have been many folk who sat back of an evening in front of the fire and enjoyed a quiet puff after a hard day's toil, cheers from Oz !!🥰👍🦚🫖☕
The tea cup and the dove would be my choice.
I love it when you find things you don't usually find whole. Its always so amazing that after so long at a tip site, they don't have chips or get broken. That bone china cup was in great condition. Plus that ginger jar too. I'd love to see that made into a lamp stand again. I was going to say put the perfect dolls head on the window ledge of wonders. Ha, but i really want to see a doll made from that. So keep that one aside and please, please make a doll from the spare parts you've collected. So this week i vote for the tiny blue bottle. Its such a fabulous coloured beauty. Ideal for the autmn sunshine to shinevthrough. Wow and what a collection of pipes and ink bottles you found. Amazing. Thanks for another lovely lark ladies and history lesson too. Always very interesting. I so enjoy our shared larks with you both. Thanks. X
Love this adventure. Oh how I wish I could be there! I vote for the tiny blue bottle and the bright, blue eyed doll head for the window of wonders! Keep up the fabulous work, Gail and Alex, and thank you for including us!

I agree with you. The tiny cobalt blue bottle is simply wonderful, as are the little doll head and the little bird!
I like so many of your finds today. The one I'm most intrigued by is the little pudding (?) doll. Alex mentioned maybe making new legs for her, but I immediately thought of a mermaid tail. Oh, please! Make her a mermaid tail and put her in your window. Maybe you could even find a ceramic fish you could steal the tail from and just glue them together. Thank you Gail and Alex, you make me want to go out and dig in the dirt!
Let stand it tall in the Window! PROUD. That beautiful Schiedam bottle. AS a Dutch woman I have to pick it !
Hi lovely ladies, what a lovely mudlark, 😍 much love Sue Gosling ❤️
What a fabulous day ladies. You should put the tea cup in the window. It's amazing it's so perfect. I sure do love you taking us with you on your adventures. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The pigeon deserves a place in the window 🕊 looking out over ur garden He won't miss his legs then 😁😄
Good Day to you, Gail and Alex! What a way to start your treasure hunt. Wow! Sweet, sweet finds. You could place the bottom half of the pudding doll in a cup of pudding, made of painted (Milliput?) or perhaps a bubble bath in a basin. The bone shaving brush could be placed w/bristle-side up, w/weighted base, and made into a mini vase, by sticking oxidized copper wire or nails, into the boar bristles, as stems. Beach glass, half-beads and or garnets would be perfect flower parts & petals. Right? Your talent of designing things makes them uniquely your own and always a Delight. So many pipes for possible shrooms and a fine mini-bottle collection. Reinforce the crack and hole with glue (on the inside) of your Stunning ginger jar, then it's good for a lamp, plant or simply display. So Happy you saved the large Gin bottle from Holland. (In the window, please?) ( :
I think that the ginger jar is my pick to go in the window. I really like your videos. Seeing the wonderful mother daughter relationship is heartening.
I vote for the teacup for the window. So astounding that it survived intact.
Both of my grandfathers worked for Colgate in Indiana USA..I am almost 70 years old so that was a long time ago.
What a wonderful time you all had! I have never seen you all find a cod bottle before, though. And I couldn't believe you left that slightly ? damaged one behind! Do you have a collection of them? I'd love to see them! And how do they actually work with the marble inside! I love your videos and I look forward to each one and I imagine how much fun I would have if I were there with you. I've never been to your country so I love the scenery also. I'm a beach comber from Florida so I love to explore what I can find on our beaches but the items you all find , the old bottles and pipe bowls and frozen Charlottes are amazing!! Keep up the wonderful videos and history bits!

Hello how are you doing?
Great haul Ladies, I would like to see the wee blue marking ink and/or the bone china tea cup. Thanks so much, have an awesome week.
The little blue bottle should be my pick for your window. It is so precious, such a small bottle, but oh so beautiful.
Either the ginger jar or the lone surviving teacup gets my vote this week.
Not sure how I found your channel, it is nothing like most of the ones I watch, but following your adventures has become addictive. Thanks for the entertainment, history and some simple fun in these trying times.
Oh, the bone China cup! I held my breath until it was completely uncovered. I just knew it would have a piece out of it somewhere
So many amazing finds today! I really loved the milkmaid, the tea cup, the cute doll's head, so many beautiful bottles and pipes! I couldn't choose what should go on the shelf! ❤️😀
I especially like the Colgate bottle....a bit of history that we can all recognize
🤩💕 I love your channel so much that I've been watching since the beginning. I hope you will put that smallest cobalt blue bottle on your window. It would be a nice addition
Your videos are always heartwarming! I love the ginger jar, I think it became a lamp at some point. I would love to see it become a lamp again!💐🌟💐
‘Ear ear’ for the Northern Mudkarks and all their finds!!!
Wonderful day😃 with so many lovelies ! I would choose the tea cup for the marvellous window of wonders 💕Elegance survives🦆
WoW! Nice finds. The teacup and tiny coloured bottles would be quite nice on a window ledge. We got a chuckle seeing Alex at the end with a bit of dirt on her face, she certainly loves her work! LoL!!
The little cobalt ink bottle could make an interesting necklace.
The ginger jar is an awesome find I know the window it’s that big to hold a years worth but my first is the ginger jar then the small panel bottle and then the small blue bottle.
I think your teacup is amazing. All in one piece. Wow!!! That would be wonderful in the window with some silk greenery or flowers.
Ginger jar is BEAUTIFUL ! But, it needs some sunlight in the window... 😜😜😜
Alex, the minute you were pointing out the crack on the ginger jar, is when my water bottle decided to expand! Needless to say, I was jolted by the sound happening at the same time, so I thought It was coming from your ginger jar! Thank goodness it wasn’t! 😂 Also, Jersey city was where I was born!
In the window….your beautiful cup, and tiny blue bottle….great finds girls, take care…❤️❤️❤️
Oooo what splendid treasures. I can't choose one item for the window of wonders. I love the ginger jar, the little blue bottle, the tall honey coloured gin bottle, the teacup and the bird. It's a dilemma 🐦🍶🍯😁 I loved all the items and your great joy whenever you find something. I was thinking maybe you could make beautiful stands for the pipe bowls and use them as candle holders, or create a pipe bowl chandelier with strings of beads, old spoons, bottle stoppers and crystal pieces. Something beautiful. I enjoy the history of the items and the display at the end with everything beautifully clean and laid out. Just love watching your videos, it brings so much happiness to me and so many others. Thank you. Love from Germany 💜💐💖
What an amazing array of finds ladies, the tea cup is so amazing to find undamaged. Nice to see your safe and healthy. Cannot wait to see how you use the objects you found in art projects. It is a shame that old taverns like the one on the pipe are gone. Can you imagine if that pipe could talk. Be well ladies!!!
I'd like to see either the beautiful teacup or the ginger jar go into the window of wonders! Another enjoyable 'lark!!!
Absolutely GORGEOUS finds as always, I can't pick just one, they all qualify for the window. I do so love your larks! Thank you so much my lovelies xx Teresa 🇦🇺❤
The tiny blue bottle and the doll head are my favorites.
I have relatives named Dalrymple that settled in Peoria County, Illinois. Funny that name came up in your video.
Thankyou Gail and Alex, terrific little finds there. I'm afraid l have to say that l love figurines so l do think yours needs to go in the Window of Wonders. I love ❤ that big window. The sun shines there so beautifully and it's even better when pussy cat sits on the outside windowsil accompanied by one brown Schwoo! Lots of love to you two darling girls. I think you are the best!! Janice.
Wow! Wonderfilled finds! As always, you're both so entertaining to watch. You're excitement is absolutely contagious! Thank you for taking us along.
I cannot choose just one find for the windowsill. My favorites are the ginger jar, so large to have remained in one piece, and the dove or pigeon bird, also whole. I have never seen a tiny bottle with a spout as you have found. Peace and Blessings 🌻
I loved the little bird and the tiny blue bottle!!! They were all lovely finds, though!!!
The little cup because it’s beautiful and I can’t believe it survived X
I love the ginger jar! It will make a lovely plant pot; or a dry vase for pea fowl feathers.
What an amazing day of finds, loved the history on the things you found. Maybe the ginger pot for the window if not one of the tiny bottles. Take care and thank you for sharing your treasures 👍👏❤️
You get everything so clean its like the stuff had never been in the ground! You should do a video on your cleaning methods if you havent already.
Sure guys aren't Frankenstein family collecting arms & legs & bodies? Hope to see a fully assembled doll one day.
What a wonderful place to look for treasures, I love the tiny bottles especially the blue one.
Great episode. That bottle dump looks to be quite the motherlode of historical artifacts. Appreciate your mention of Jersey City, New Jersey in connection to the Colgate bottle.Lifelong New Jerseyan here
The blue ink bottle would go into my beach glass collection in my windows....I loved that. Your Ginger Jar was stunning as well but would take up too much space on the window ledge. Thank you for another wonderful video.
I love the gin bottle, can't wait to see the sun shine though it as it sits in the window.. All great treasures. XO
I live the teacup. There is something so delicate and perfectly formed about old teacups. That case gin is a lovely colour. Plenty of great finds there, I'd love to dig at a site like that! Another great video ladies!

Thank you for the fun video. I vote for the tiny blue bottle and the complete doll's head with shoulders in tact. I also loved the Colgate bottle. I remember my grandmother having one of those bottles with Cashmere Bouquet in it. 😊
You had so many beautiful finds on this adventure. My fave is the tiny cobalt blue marking ink bottle. I feel there is a "Wall Hanging art project" with all the dolls ears, waiting to happen.
I love the little blue cobalt bottle!
I’d say my favorite is the Two of You. Always fun to go along with you. Love the little bottles too. Stay Well❤
