so just a bit of info for all the people that have commented about "that old man" in the video - he is my Ajarn, Mick Mullaney, & a veteran of 68 fights from back in the day when Muay Thai wasn't even heard of in the UK. He fought anyone anywhere & he truly is one of the pioneers of British Muay Thai. I can honestly tell you that even though you think he is "old & overweight" you seriously wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of anything he throws. He is highly respected in Thailand - he's been training there since 1977. His knowledge is awesome but more importantly he is one of the nicest, most genuine human beings you could ever wish to meet - I love him to bits & I'm honoured to call him my friend

Anyone saying he’s overweight obviously have no fight experience. 😁 like big muscles are the trump card in all fights. Appreciate him sharing his knowledge 🙏🏻

Anyone who couldn't recognize this mans skill on the 1st jab is insane. This video is 7 years old? I hope this gentleman is still with us.
One can tell he is an expert because in just a few minutes of demonstration he communicated large amounts of information with complete clarity.
Using the jab to the body to set up the overhand right is a personal favorite. Really works so well especially against taller guys.

For sure, completely agree. I also like the right straight to the body to set up either the lead hook or overhand against the same! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!!
Love the technique in these moves. Excellent work and clear and concise explanation. Shout out to Wicker Camp.
I live in Thailand and I see lots and lots of boxers. He's the real deal, very skilled man
This coach is on elite level! Thank you for sharing of your knowledge
Another fantastic tutorial from the Warrior Collective and great to see legend Mick Mullaney putting on some skills he is like the wise Shaolin Monk of Muay Thai a wealth of knowledge, very humble and the last person you want to mess with on a dark night!

Stop, you will make me blush ha ha. Seriously though, it is a pleasure to do, it gives me chance to meet all the coaches around the world and sound time with them whilst filming all the awesome tutorials that go on this channel. I would like to think it is one of the best martial arts based youtube channels for sure but then I may be biased ha ha. Thanks for taking the time to write such a kind comment, always excellent to get fantastic feedback!

Good teep by him, solid!
Mick is the sort of guy someone would start on in a pub one day and wake up a week later with buckets of regret lol
very good high level feints techniques by reading the opponents' habits and weaknesses, can demo the real sparring scenarios to make people see the pros and cons and how to break and even counter the moves that is taught.
Thank you for this Video. I used the first feint in sparring and it worked out well for me.
Thank you for those technics !
Thanks this was very informative!
Kudos and thank you🥋💯
That man is a beast! Hes the muay thai version of a sleeper😮
Another example of a guy that looks harmless in the street, easy target. But could well and truly devour people with his strikes. His strikes had 0 flaws and can tell he is a veteran!!
what a beast. great video keep it up!
