MST3K-Broadcast Editions: 620-Danger!! Death Ray 1/8/1995

Комедия

Hey man, you wanna get Broadcast Edition?
This is from early in the fifth year of Comedy Central. In its prime.
Watch for lots of nostalgic commercials! Including laughable drug PSA's, a promo for Fox's Sunday night crap-o-rama (including a short-lived John Leguizamo series that looks *awful*), Microsoft Office, drain cleaner, AT&T commercials with the Costanza's, and that Kevin Sorbo Hercules series.
Aired January 8, 1995 at 10am. The first re-run after the premiere.
Check back here roughly every week-ish (ha!) for more broadcast versions of MST3K episodes.
FYI, I'm always on the look-out for taped episodes with their commercials intact. Preferably March 1991 and earlier, or Turkey Days ''93, '94 & '95. I'll even pay for the things. Interested? Drop me a line! Find me on Reddit, Tarlcabot18 or Twitter, Tarlcabot25. I prefer a DM on Twitter, Reddit's DM's have been acting up for me.

Wow, on of my favorite episodes AND 1995 commercials. Thank you. I cannot believe the variety of commercials even for a cable channel.. Now we get three different commercials shown every break.

OMG that commercial has a very very young Patton Oswald! Thanks for leaving that in.

I think those scheduling department commercials were inspired from him and Blaine Capatch performing together in their “Food for Thought” sketches from the VERY hard to find sketch comedy series “Small Doses” (which also aired on Comedy Central). Take that with a grain of salt though.

(Insert ba-pa-da-da-da-da music here) Another nostalgic recording I’m happy to see on your channel! The spy flicks definitely catch my attention! I also feel very attacked as a stoner in those anti-weed commercials 😅 but I get it. It was the 90s. Weed was the devil’s lettuce, Hopefully my January 1995 recording of “Skydivers” won’t end up getting blocked because of a certain zombie flick at the end.

This is one of those episodes that I feel like didn't get discussed a lot for awhile because one of the only copies floating around was pretty bad quality. So happy to revisit this again with commercials! And I vaguely remember that John Leguizamo show, it WAS awful 😂
