I just got this gpu and it's just beautiful... Expensive but beautiful nonetheless. Pairing it with the i7-13700k was the right choice. Gaming in high refresh rates is so satisfying!

Coil whine isnt typically your gpu noise could be coming from it but is most likeley your power supply or cables mine exp your more likely to get a monitor with this issue when trying to use a high RR

I actually learned this very thing not long ago. Thanks for calling it out here. Didn't realize the PSU could be such a big culprit.

How was the coil whine on yours? Had one recently and it had the loudest I’ve ever heard, ended up returning it.

Actually very minimal, but we were running a 4K benchmark. I expect it would have been much worse at lower resolutions.

4080 lmao yeah cause we should be buying these and supporting the lack of optimizations in developers these days cause we can just buy a 4080 yeah no thanks I ordered a msi suprim se 4070ti on Newegg for 750$ compared to the third party sales of a 4080 for 1400+ lmao

@@balancostel7940 I’d say that depends firstly on your budget. A high end PC lasts longer before needing upgrades. If your budget is too small to get a higher end PC right now, then build a midrange PC but choose platforms that can be upgraded in the future, like AMD5 (Zen 4 CPUs-Ryzen 7000). Upgrading can be fun but is also more work more often.

@@balancostel7940 also- I think the 7900xt is an excellent 4K card. Better than the 3090 for $900 is not amazing value, but it’s better than the 4080! My 7900XT is performing admirably in 4K. You can check out my undervolting livestream and probably get another 10%+ performance out of a 7900XT. Especially with an AIB card like the Red Devil.
