Msfs2020 *G1000Nxi* Manual Holding Tutorial using OBS for unpublished holds ( Omni Bearing Selector)

Hello everyone hope you are well this video we discuss the use of the OBS function on the g1000nxi working title mod available on Microsoft flight simulator 2020. This tutorial will teach the fundamentals of the unpublished hold using an arrival chart and we will also fly the intended route after the briefing. I did not go over the 6 t's in a hold which are Turn , Time , Twist, Throttle, Talk , and Toggle. I didn't feel that there was a need for flight simming so I left them out other than that the g1000nxi still has some bugs I have found that after 2 laps around the hold the gps progresses along in the flight plan which it is not supposed to do that is why I deleted the rest of the flight plan. Good job on manual holding. Getting back to flying after after thirty years( logged 8000+ hours). I remember manual holding and your presentation is a great refresher using a glass cockpit. I use your fun animations as a useful distraction that can be substituted for a realistically environment when flying in IFR conditions. Great job.

Nice video showing how to use OBS for hold. I disagree with how you entered the hold however. When you reached JTEEA intersection you should have turned left to outbound course for a parallel entry. You turned right and did not stay in the protected area.

Thanks for the comment . I am redoing the entire g1000 series now for the updated aau. In my new vids I disclose I am not a pilot so I will not follow proper procedures the main goal of the series is to help people understand and use the g1000 avionics suite. Thanks for the info tho .
