Agreed, it's about South Asian representation as a whole. If marvel plays the right cards, it can go big in South Asia and might even become more of a pop cultural thing in the region. I think marvel now wants to being more South Asian audience on board especially after the eternals and miss marvel, I think this is gonna be huge

Don't... Don't put this weight of representation on such a young girl. This is a great start, for sure but we'll need more...
I'll be honest. I'm not a huge fan of live action cartoons that use a lot of CGI. When I watch a show, it's all about the characters, the writing and the performances. If they'd gone with an experienced actress for this role of the usual variety (28 years old playing a teenager with a personal trailer and zero personality) it would have been a disaster. Instead, they went with an unknown actress with a ton of personality and charisma who is around the age of the character she's portraying and is believable. It also helps that the writing isn't just about special effects and there's actually character development and realism to the storylines when she's not doing the superhero thing. I also appreciate as a white guy who grew up a minority around South and East Asian people that my childhood is kind of represented. As a 40 year old guy who never really got into cartoons even as a kid, I heard this was terrible and I thought I would hate this, but after the first episode, I was absolutely hooked.
She’s cute, too bad her character was butchered with Green lantern powers
