Hi Sarah, just watching some old videos on the MR2, I’m still amazed of what you do on your own. Your attention to detail is a astonishing. Keep up the great work you do for us 🐧🚗
Hey Spencer thanks for stopping by and helping Sarah with Mr.Dos 🔩 🔧

Spencer most have requested to be kept out of the limelight, ‘cause we didn’t see much of him. But, like “1” said ... your good deeds didn’t go un-noticed, Spencer.
Throwing the clutch line on the floor priceless 😂
Love the enthusiasm you put on working those cars, hope you keep it up and never get fed up of it ;-)

V Tex thank you 😊
I really enjoy your DIY approach and your willingness to tackle projects that would intimidate most people. As a side note, I lived in Tucson for 27 years but I left in 1999 so seeing some of the scenery and hearing you mention the temperatures and such really brings back memories. Thanks for all you do, Sarah!
Did I ever say I love your personality and ur content well put together. Big fan here enjoyed

Love seeing you getting this almost there !! 🤛🏻
Been raining for days but when you did your Thanos finger snap the rain stopped! Amazing...
I love your attention to detail and getting things right when putting things back together. having turned wrenches myself in the service, it is nice to see.
yay!! Dose is almost done! Keep up the good work, cant wait to hear it fire up!
MR2 is looking good Sarah. Nice work.
Yay for Mr Dos!!! Thank you for your amazing channel and such great videos. Also good stuff that Spencer was able to come help out. Cant wait to see this car done.
Yeah, that beauty is nearly ready to tear up asphalt! Your hard work and attention to detail is nearly finished! Awesome!!! Great work!!!
So close! I am ready to hear that thing run! Have a great weekend!
Yay! MR2 is almost completed. Just a few finishing touches left. Good job!
This has been well worth the wait. Your t-belt job reminds me of all the NSX belts I've changed. Mid-engine love. Uuuugh....
Great to see the full smile and looking yourself again. Great job and great vid.
Yep, MR2 progress! Now you got it on the run, almost there, keep going! Good to see you decided to sub out the clutch slave line and save yourself grief and aggravation. This has been a great set of videos on Mister Dose!!! Thanks for sharing!
Great video Sarah! The lights are cool. Have a wonderful weekend and keep on being you!
Woohoo super stoked you are getting to the end of this troublesome beast lol. Also thanks so much for sharing my Vortex project on your channel Love your work Sarah B-)
Nice job Sarah; Hang in there!! Its all starting to come together now. I like your "run to the auto parts store" trips.....it reminds me of when I used to wrench on my parents drive way as a teen.
sarah love your personality you always make me happy keep up the good work
Your garage lighting is amazing!!
Awesome i see a first start in the very very near future. I'm glad Spencer was able to help you out. See when you take your time things happen very fast.
I cant believe mr. Dos is almost done! Its looking good! And you're looking good as always Sarah!!😍
Glad you had help on the dangerous tasks. Normally, when I'm working on cars, I have to fly solo and it sucks. Getting excited for you to get the MR2 done and have fun giving it the beans!
Anyone else jealous of the rear fenders of this car? Love this channel. Love the ⭐️ of the show!
That looked like a lot of work... good progress cant wait to see ya drive that bad boy!!
Love the channel! Keep up the great work Sara!
Congratulations on getting the car almost back together! I just tried to replace a part on my 30 year old Honda and rounded two screws. Fun times.
The lighting looks great. Search for a surfboard shaping videos and you’ll find the same lighting design, because the light reveals the subtle contours of the bottom of the boards while being shaped.
Exhaust looks good, that thing is coming together nice 👍
Nice job on the garage lights, they look great and is an idea that is so obvious I wonder why more people dont do it. Nice progress on Senor Dos, keep up the great work.
Such a wonderful channel to watch & your goofy personality makes it more fun & interesting.. keep up d build sarah.. youre amazing 👍
Love watching your videos. Keep smiling and making people laugh gorgeous!
44 seconds. Woot woot. Good to hear that you were deep into mr. Dos again
Loved it glad you got some help with it x
Way to go, Sarah! I've been shoulders deep in a 1984 MR 2 swapping out the timing belt with a buddy...a real PITA. Fun little car, ultra-tossable!
I need some of those garage lighting lol!!, great video Sarah :) left a like friend 👍
Well Sarah, watching you work, I wish I lived closer to you (yeah, I live in Canada)... to help you out. As a semi-retired grandpa who still loves to wrench in his leisure time, it would be fun! Good work with the MR2. Not the easiest project car to work on.
Well done Sarah, and I love the the 5th Element references. 👍👍👍👍
Good decision on the clutch line Sarah. I used to be an engineer at a tube bending Job Shop and our best technician would have taken an hour to make that line and may even have made a couple of bad ones first. By the way you're pretty much right about the mandrel bending. That's what is used to get nice tight bends with very little collapse. Needless to say those aren't consumer tools. A little collapse isn't a bad thing but the tighter the bends the worse it's going to get. I never would have thought of Pirtek but of course they make replacement hydraulic lines for all kinds of heavy equipment so why not for a car.
Awesome work. Your videos want me to buy a Mr2 again. I use to have two Mr2s. But you are putting lot more hours of labor into your Mr2 so applause to you
Great progress Sarah.
Can't wait to see the MR2 running!
Boy that is a sexy exhaust. A great amount of progress can't wait for you to give him the beans.
Nice! I owned a 86 MT2. Wish I had it back! Nice job!
AWESOME. LOVE ALL YOUR MR2 VIDEOS...
Spencer, thanks for helping Sarah the Meticulous stay safe.
I know you must be so happy that this project is almost complete! 👍🏻😎
Gotta love that part with making the clutch line (love the music as well). Yep i can do this no problem...... Ahh F@*k it I'll go get it done. Who hasn't done that, especially the throwing it to one side.
Good job Sarah .
Yay for progress!
I so love these videos.
Awesome lights
I love watching you videos and figuring out where in Tucson the different shops are at.
As for clutch, or brake, lines - if you don't want to make them and having difficulty getting a shop to make one- just measure the length (plus length of soft line) and have a hydraulic shop make you a SS braided line long enough, route it however you want.
I use to have that exhaust on my old mr2 turbo. Looked so bad ass
Great vids Sarah!
Glad you got some help!
Nice work Sarah.
i hope u spun the motor over and rechecked the timing marks. and if u take an open end wrench the same size as your clutch line and spin the open side around the bends on your line it will take out the kinks. love your videos hope to see this thing run soon
Love this channel!
Nice job I hope the clutch line goes in easy
MR DOS is looking good.....like his mechanic! It will be good to see it off the jack stands and purring like a kitten! :)
Happy Thanksgiving Sarah's!!!
Love the content as always:)
GO SARAH GO!!!
Workin on workin! Keep on workin! You will enjoy your efforts shortly!
I love pitchers lol Great video! Keep it up
Congrats on getting the timing belt finished. I changed a access. drive belt and tensioner on an Acura RX350 and you had to remove the front motor mount to change that as well...for a FLIPPIN' "FAN" BELT !! Such a P.I.T.A., so I can relate to the misery of getting it done. Eager to see Mr. Dos fished soon, the struggle needs to end. Good luck.
I’m ready to hear your car. You worked so hard to build it.
Gorgeous and hilarious, love your videos.
Mr2 looking good
Nice build.
Good work! I know it's hot in that thar garage, but you never seem hot or burned out. Your feminine composure is pretty cool. Literally.
So close. So much hard work.
ordering those LED lights!!!
Like the car. They are rare to see out anymore.
I've found that the best way to bend new tubing is to lay the new tubing on top of the old tubing (removed from the vehicle) taping one end of the new to an end of the old and then bend the new tubing in exact alignment all along the length of the old tubing. Keep taping the new to old along with the bends to make sure that the shape of the line is as close as possible. If you have an old spring drain clean out 'snake' you could cut a length of it (about a foot or so) and use that to help prevent any kinks. Sometimes a few pieces of pipe of varying diameters in a vice can be used as a shaped guide and can help keep the bends smooth. I do it all by hand instead of using a tool because it's faster and never had any problems but in the ends it's whatever works best for you.
Really Happy that you got the Engine back together! Can't wait to see it Ripping! ...Pro Tip on fitting tight timing Belts; don't seat the belt all the way onto the Gears(Crank, Idlers, Cams, etc) ...If you place the belt about 50% of the way onto the gears, you will have a MUCH easier time slipping it onto the last(usually the smallest) gear. And 9 out of 10 times you would be able to the job solo :) ...keep up the great work and bringing great content to us viewers! :-D
'Hard" and "tight." Perfect combination.
Awesome. Beautiful car. Well, not in red, but love the Mister Two!
I remember the Pontiac fiero was a joy to work on to was interesting.
pritek is a greate place for brake lines and your clutch line. as long as you have the ends of a brake hose you can tell them to make them longer or shorter for ant project you have. they also will make a/c hoses too.
Sooooooo close now :D You got this :D
Another great vid Sarah. Keep it up. (No, no that is not an innuendo) ;)
I can’t believe you missed your funniest comment yet, when something fell on you while putting on your exhaust, I’ll leave it at that. Good progress today, keep up the hard work and positive attitude, enjoyed it.
Wow what pain butt timing belt I hope you have a nice day
Sarah, I sent you all the tools to easily fabricate that clutch line yourself. I sent a hydraulic flaring tool, two benders and a set of flare nut wrenches. They were delivered to your post office in Vail last Thursday, via Fed Ex. If you haven't seen them yet, the post office should have a box for you that weighs about 20 lbs. I sure hope you're able to track down that package??? As always, nice work on the MR2.

Stephen Moxley I’ll swing by and check tomorrow! I still have to bend and flare the end near the transmission when I get the new line back.

Sarah, you raise a good point. The brake shop doesn't have the complete clutch line; only the part before the broken piece. Hopefully, they'll leave you some extra tubing, to do the final bend and flare on? Also, make sure you get the original line back. I'm just sayin' that it may come in handy. If the new line doesn't fit, you can easily splice a new piece on to the old line, yourself. Best wishes for a successful repair. I KNOW you can do it!
Did exactly the same with garage lighting. The only minor is that it starts blinking when its really cold... I mean about -20C (way below 0F)
Great video those timing belts have to be the worse ones to change I've done two of them one thing now is as you have done one you are in the elites machanics club top job
You almost look like you were crying at the 14:15 minute mark. Getting one step closer to driving El Senor Dos must be an emotional time :)
If you need lines made and cant get it done at a brake shop look up an offroad shop in your area. Preferably a smaller shop that is more tuned to custom builds on offroad vehicles. They make brake lines for projects and solid axles so I'm sure they would be able to make a clutch line. Now your specific area I'm not really sure but theres probably a couple smaller one off places.
Almost there!!!
Dang so close. Gives me something to look forward to though.
Looks like you went a little deep into Tucson, hope you picked up some tacos :) .. You were right by the swap meet, pretty cool place on a weekend if you were ever up to do something and walk around.. I'm glad you're MR2 is coming up nicely.. I need a link in the description of your exhaust.. Looks like the one I was going to get for my '13 Hatch WRX, the brand name was J2 Engineering.
Bummer on the clutch line. I had to do the same thing on a VW Beetle brake line some yeas ago. That was fun! See ya!
For what it's worth.... I've often done a two piece... or even a three piece replacement for metal lines like that. It seems to make reinstalling the lines easier and the prefabricated lines are already flared and often are coated to prevent rust. This won't help you this time... but maybe next time and other people also. :P Glad you are getting so close Sarah. :)
Great video! glad to see the MR2 project coming to a close. I saw you used a Tq wrench on the lugs, jw what Tq spec are you using on them?
