- he wouldn't really mess with women or kids. If anything Ray is pissed that the guy has a family and put them in such clear danger by borrowing what he couldn't pay back. If Ray wasn't the one collecting, someone else without a code might have been visiting that guys family. Sure, Ray is a violent criminal, but he usually is able to focus his barbarous nature at people who have it coming in some way and often helps a friend or someone vulnerable while doing it. So its more of an anti hero type thing. One of those not the hero we want but one that we need sort of things.

They weren't his, though, and the property had been in the family since before cars were a thing. Always wondered if they didn't belong to some former attempted horse thieves that experienced early retirement.

I watched this series twice through already. Think it’s time for a third
I loved this show😊
Ray Shoesmith is a LEGEND.
I wish there were 5 seasons of this show.
What are you eating there Roy? I don’t answer questions!
Smiling but not smiling.
02:42 Younger dude is like "For Fuck's sake, Ray... that wasn't necessary, ya sick bastard." Even the collector is not okay with Ray.😅

When Chuck Norris needs backup ...
Quite enjoying that as it looked like Boris Johnson getting a kicking.
Deep threatening
Gostaria de rever essa série no TNT Series, perdi alguns episódios. Muito boa essa série.
This wasn't actually a threat. He just told the guy the way things were.
thats the push
Is that Boris Johnson??
More than one way to skin a cat. U catch more flys with honey!
whats the song @ 2:56? pls pls ty!
I love the detail of how Nick doesn't really do anything over the top, considering we find out later that he's a cop.
I love Pho!!!
work smarter not harder....lol
Ray is nothing if not efficient.
I worked in The Cross. For a "local businessman" and my job was quite legitimate and above board. But most of the other guys who worked for him, not so much. And one of the very first things I, and the other everyday employees learned was, "You are not here to ask questions, c-nt". So I know perfectly well that little opening scene.
agreed great show found it because of the guardian uk
I can see why the victim will use efforts to get back back their money "TODAY".
Nice
" And what's your job?"
Ray wouldn't hurt this man's wife and kids. But he doesn't know that.
Intelligence vs violence. But yet one won’t work without the other. Violence to subdue then intelligence to terrify into follow through
I knew that dude was a cop in the first scene he was in.
Bruh That’s some fifty cent delivery : B! I know where your B do her nails. I never forget that shit.
Want to say six seasons and a movie, but I watched the movie of this character after the series finale.

There is amovie.
Episode 1, gotta love it
Kirribilli looks very nice. Right on the water. Very expensive. With a view of the Sydney Opera house. The dude is a deadbeat.
Anyone know the music that starts at 2:55 ?

So, he is threatening a father implying he will do harm to his family, still he somehow is a hero and family guy?

Nobody is saying Ray's a hero, the father put his family in danger when he borrowed money from criminals and didn't pay back on time and Ray doesn't harm women and children it's just a negotiating tactic.
@Babidi111
