I think the last great idea I had to put up with from a bloke called Dave was bow hunting kangaroos in the national park and storing the meat in the caravan park communal freezer. The idea before that was borrowing his bosses flat bed truck and hitting up all the Salvation Army collection points and selling the goods. The idea before that was sneaking into the apricot orchard at night, harvesting the left over apricots and selling them at market. He was good for the last two schemes but the first one, I dunno, that could have landed him in jail with some solid time. He sold all the apricots too. Dave, if you read this I hope you're doing well and I hope you finally got your van working.

I swear Ray gets some form of entertainment from this man.

I can't stand to be touch as other's form of speaking. Every time he slaps Ray in the chest, I'd tighten. The fact that Ray was in a place of Zen and meditating makes this even harder to watch.

When you're friends with someone that long, you become family.

Ray is perfectly demonstrating the nature of long term friendships here. Within seconds he knows this is going nowhere but his loyalty forces him to listen and even ignore the chest slaps. Lol !! This is high level writing and acting, what a great show!!

It's different with mates.

They are both ride or die for each other, and its amazing how they are opposite of each other yet both are criminals by heart but have a good heart especially when his dead friends daughter gets taken and Gary and Ray don't stop until she is found and well

The fact that his business kicks off is amazing

Nothing beats Ray's smile at the end of show's very last episode... This is one series that needs to continue.

I have no idea how they kept straight faces filming this scene, or how many takes were used to get it right, but fuck me it's funny. Aussie humour, there's nothing quite like it.

I've never seen this show but Scott Ryan's facial acting is so phenomenally hilarious. Absolutely love seeing clips like this

@@killerkendro yeah Aussies are not very good at doing corny style storytelling especially when they make crime shows. They value authenticity over everything to be honest, and Mr Inbetween is a great example of it.

Gotta love Gary, absolute bonehead in his normal day to day, but solid as granite in a clutch.

This is hilarious, cause there is a guy in our group kinda like this. One buddy actually said, "I hate that dumbass." My reply as we just stare at him being an idiot, "Yeah, but he's our dumbass." Then he fell silent and said, "f**k, you're right."

The chest slaps is common thing in Australia. We don't all do it. But we all have a mate that does and they're all some form of Gazza. A true friend. Only a true mate can come over announced, walk straight in without knocking and interrupt yourr quiet time and get away with it.
