Ray Shoesmith ‘takes care of people’ - collecting debts, relieving them of drugs and guns, and often taking care of them on a more permanent basis. Ray demands respect and does not tolerate others disregarding his very clear code of ethics. As Ray’s increasingly volatile work collides with his imploding personal life, he finds himself struggling to stay atop the complex web he has woven.

Ray Shoesmith, concerned parent or helicopter parent?

😆 as a dad 3 young daughters I definitely can relate, it really sucks when you have any daughters and realize how many boys are going to be trying to get to third base etc , it made me look at women alot differently after having daughters, look one thing dad's should do is keep a space open for a lifetime fir your daughters because you don't want them to be stuck abusive relationship because they feel they have no where to go, and any guy wants my blessings for marriage has to past one test to get my love and respect, I'm going to pay someone to walk up when my daughters ahf and her future husband out in public and disrespect my daughter in front of him to see if will defend his girlfriend honor or run away like a coward, I will never be ok with a coward , it's my daughters choice who she loved etc but it's a dad's choice who he gives his blessings too, a real man will stickup for his girl and that means more protection and less worry for dads

If something had to be there to make the universe, then that something lives somewhere, and that somewhere had to have something there to make it, which is called infinite regression and totally disproves this argument. Many of you think it doesn't but you're simply wrong. If you: Assert that life needs a designer, then the designer, being "life" as well, also needs a designer. There is simply no way around this. All you are doing is adding an extra step that requires its own separate explanation. It doesn't explain anything away.

@@turkeypudding1 There is a very logical answer to that question, as follows. The question itself presupposes time. But time exists as a quality of the universe, not a quality of what preceded the universe, or to put it another way, not a quality of something that is not part of the universe (ie, outside of it). What this all means, is that God exists somewhere that has no time, at least in the sense we know it as (kind of impossible for us to comprehend this concept). What is fascinating about this philosophical concept, is that this aligns with how the Bible describes God as in, he is the "Alpha and Omega" (beginning and end), "He is", "He always was". Aristotle called God the unmoved mover (for this very reason - nothing moved him, only He moves other things - pure actuality. blah blah. Complicated stuff, but all lines up like clockwork. So when people say "there's no proof of God's existence", or, "the Bible is bullshit", etc. They know nothing.
