MP Naz Shah on what a Labour Government should do for Gaza | The Big Picture

Bradford West MP Naz Shah tells @el.sayyed that it’s naive to vote against pro-Palestinian voices inside Labour, because they’re the only ones who can fight for change in a new government.
Shah resigned from her frontbench position in November after she broke away from her party and voted for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Yet despite her vocal advocacy on Islamophobia and Palestinian rights, she’s come under fire from some in her community for not standing down from Labour completely in light of Keir Starmer’s vocal support for Israel’s government.
Instead, she believes that she and others have successfully pushed Starmer to eventually support a ceasefire and the ICC case - but that there was still a long fight ahead to get the party to align with her own position - that of an immediate ceasefire and an arms embargo on Israel.
On July 4, Labour is expected to win a resounding majority in the general election, making Keir Starmer the first Labour Prime Minister in 14 years.

She's still shilling for labour, anything she says is secondary to that. If she was actually a decent person, she'd have been kicked out by now for going against the whip and collective responsibility.

Gaza is a humanitarian crisis, and we should all be abhorred by. D-day was about honouring the fallen who fought for humanity to be respected and free. Lordy, how our politicians have let them down. Think of what our tax payer's money that is spent appeasing lobbyists and on arms manufacture could do for our country. All those billions of pounds could be spent to improve our crumbling infrastructure, help get the homeless off the streets, build more houses, sort out our NHS, social care and improve the lives of our citizens, the list is endless. The 1%s might even be let off paying more taxes? I say give Diplomacy a chance. Instead of boming people out of their homes, which in itself creates the immigration problem and gravely contributes to climate changes. The government must STOP BURNING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

As long as she is still a Labour member/candidate, she is supporting the perpetrators f the genocide against Palestinians. No matter what excuses she may come up with to stay. She talks the talk but her actions say otherwise. Shame on her!

Naz, my love, you need to be a strong, independent MP. Keir Starmer hates your guts. You are a strong and sensible voice for Muslims and Palestine. Don't demean yourself by staying in Likud Labour.
