Wonderful - the cast, the staging, the acting, the singing, the orchestra - cant be beaten. Rod Gilfry, what a don! Not a weak link anywhere and a faithful rendition of the libretto - stunning.

For this opera ends to Don Giovanni condenation.
Mozart eben. Über all diese Meinungen und Kommentare hier würde er sich bestimmt amysiert, fast spöttisch entrüsten. Denn all diejenigen hier scheinen wirklich nicht verstanden zu haben, zu was ER fähig war. Ungefähr so, als wenn man dem Piloten einer Passagiermaschine nach der Landung applaudiert. Gut gemeint, jedoch pure Beleidigung!!!
I find Donna Anna's last aria (especially the coloratura runs) very tiresome and even awkward and clumsy.
