Mozambican Trinxado - The World in One City

Trinxado is a traditional Mozambique beef dish with a Portuguese influence.
Join Grant Hawthorne from African Volcano as he shows us how to make Mozambican Trinxado, peri-peri marinated beef served with a side of game chips - yum! All prepared on the AGA cooker at the Divertimenti showroom on Marylebone High Street, London.

You have to marinate the meat in wine and other condiments like garlic and peri peri and let it rest for a couple of hours. That is the way!

Sorry....trinchado is not a traditional Mozambican dish at all....this dish is totally Portuguese made everywhere in the world including Mozambique. Hope this helps!

@@marvinharms1891 How does the curry come in the picture? Curry is Indian and it´s made in various ways according to each indian family and location and using meat (lamb usually) or veggies.

@@MsTony1957 well trinchados ingredients are not indemic to Portugal. As is Indian ingredients. I specifically use the reference of Indian cuisine because, well, a reference. Here in South Africa we have many types of trinchados and curries. For me a trinchado must not exclude an acid, herbs and chilly. A curry must not exclude chilly, cumin coriander, and turmeric. That's just me😉
