Hi, can we transfer our New York license to California and work there. Just finished NCLEX from nepal and still planning what to do.

Yes u can transfer it but some states require social security number for the licensure process so u have to find out if its required for California or not.

@@AboutNCLEX Its required to have SSN for California board, so in this case we can’t do it from here?? Or is there any way around.

If SSN is required then u can first apply through newyork board and then transfer to California later when you come to united states.

@@AboutNCLEX and that will take a whole contract term 2-3 yrs for us, so m willing to find a way.
