Moving to Murfreesboro, TN: 5 Things I Wish I Would Have Known

What I wish I would have known before moving to Murfreesboro, is how fantastic of a community I would find here! Don't move to Murfreesboro without knowing these 5 things.
As I've explored Murfreesboro more and more, I've truly grown to understand what this city is all about. Murfreesboro is located in the center point of Tennessee and has a population size of 157,000 making it the 6th largest city in Tennessee. The city is known for its civil war history, The Stones River Battle was one of the bloodiest battles in the Civil War.
Murfreesboro’s community has seen a substantial amount of residential and commercial growth in recent years. It is the fastest growing city in Tennessee and one of the fastest in the country.

any other recommendations for places to live in TN? I have been looking to rent and want to make the right move. (the internet recommended Brentwood, but I forgot to pack all my hundred dollar bills in my suitcase)

@@CapinCrunch I would suggest checking out Columbia, Gallatin, Murfreesboro, or Clarksville if you are looking for more affordable options. If you'd like to be closer to Nashville, I would research rental prices in different neighborhoods of Nashville and go from there!

There is nothing to do in Murfreesboro and the food options are lacking. The town is dead at 9pm. Depending where you are from that may or may not bother you. No the cost of living is not high.

75% of Murfreesboro consists of transplants - and most are oblivious to the pleasant town that Murfreesboro was 30 years ago. The increase in cost of living, traffic, crime and homelessness is turning the town into nasty Nashville.

That's because your corrupt RepubliKKKan government isn't doing anything for you! You haven't figured that out yet? Scoot over democracy is on the way making life better for everyone and not just the government officials. All red states are suffering under corrupt and incompetent leadership. Best economy ever and you people are suffering, it's reprehensible! Blue on the way! 💙🌊

Really? You miss the old days when women had no rights, black people were slaves and knew their place and gay people didn't dare let anyone know they're gay. When parents would beat the gay out of children, when they were sent to Concentration Camps where they were abused until they were straight. Did you know people have no influence over their sexuality? Democracy and the Construction are coming your way. White Supremacists and NAZIS are not welcome in the United States of America! 💙🌊💙🌊💙🌊💙
