I just towed mine on a flatbed 10 by 8 from Ohio to Tampa in 22 hours with many stops behind my 260,000 mile Nissan pathfinder . N99055 is safe at home in the south!

A great friend of mine had a 7ECA Balanca Citabria we had to move from the airstrip to his shop to re skin it. We left the wings on and placed the tail wheel in the bed of his truck and at 1AM we started the 2 mile trip, without incident. It was funny. Good luck on getting your plane ready.

I towed mine behind the pick up through town on its own gear with our FBO tow bar. Other than a few odd looks it wasnt an issue. :)

I bet, with it on the trailer people kind of stopped what they were doing and watched it go by. But its always fun to see their looks.

Why not taxi it? I’ve seen it done.

Never thought about doing that. We live off a highway would been a little hard, but I think we could have done that.

when you start your engine how long does it take for your egt gauge to respond?

The old one took some time before it would move, I ended up installing a electronics international egt/cht and outside temp. It works right away when you turn it on compared to the old one.

@@pilotray Thank you did some high speed taxi runs and it didnt move . Im going to fly it soon . It doesnt have A mixture so I wonder if it is inop it looks to be connected.

@@g6rcteam81 Lots ercoupe the mixture is wired full rich. The one I have has a mixture control but it will not go full lean to kill the engine and that is normal for that carburetor on them. I recommend going the Facebook ecoupe group, there you can get lots of info. Also they're lots of people that would love to see and help you also with your ercoupe.

The wings look small.

The wings are small, was able to fit them on a 16 ft trailer with no over hang. They are fabric wings we have another ercoupe that has the metal wings, same size and everything just metal.
