Just wanna say: I've been producing music since 2011 (i was 14) and making house music before branching off to bass and club projects. Always had an appreciation for drum and bass though Hearing MSX FM in GTA years before all that, most likely was what helped me get familiar with the sound. Now that i see where that came from, a lot of these classic Moving Shadow tracks inspired me to start another project that i'm making drum and bass under. Thank you for all the sick tracks! Big shout out to Timecode

It's great to see all the Moving Shadow mixes together in one place, and uploaded from an official channel too! Every mix is a masterpiece and this is the one that essentially got me into the whole genre, thanks to GTA III. Big love for all these classics right into 2021!

Moving Shadow (along with the stations MSX FM from Grand Theft Auto III, and MSX 98 from Liberty City Stories) is the label that got me interested into Drum n' Bass at a very young age in the first place. 20 years later and this CD mix still ages like fine wine.

My favourite Moving Shadow mix. 101.1 is the business. MSX FM.

Bringing those GTA 3 memories! One of my favorite DnB compilations of all time!

MSX FM was my jam in GTA III and I never knew where the music came from. After some research, I was finally able to procure this album back in 2010 or 2011. After hearing the whole thing, I then bought 98.2, 02.1, 02.2, 04.1, and 05.2. These mixes are too damn good and I'm glad to see them up on KZread.

I really love these old-school/underground DnB songs and I really miss them!

98 through 02 was the golden era of drum and bass. Take me back

I finally recieved the CD of this mix not long ago. I was very lucky because it was very cheap, but i could have paid hundred of euros for it even if it was in its actual condition (completely busted but dayum i don't care at all, i replaced the box and the disc plays wells so no problem). It is absolute gem that makes me feel goosebumps and erase my fatigue. Thank you Moving Shadow, thank you GTA Liberty City Stories and GTA III for making me discover this music and all the universe of Jungle and DnB ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Haha it’s an absolute corker of a transition ,I have them both on 12s ,I loved that blend so much that I actually used to turn out that transition at gigs and party’s back in the day,the vinyl mix is slightly different indicating that the msx mixes are juggled around and synced with computers,don’t know I could be wrong,none the less it still absolutely bangs 👊

GTA III baby 2001 the best

I was already into dnb when GTA3 hit. I knew the radio stations where a fun idea in the past few games. But 3 turned things up allot. This mix was already good but to here it in a video game was legendary and what a game to be connected to. What made it cooler is that I already had the mix cd before the game came out. Msx will all was be the best station that made. I played gta3 so much I still here MC Codebreaker in my head when listening to the original mix.

Yep, CD is 16bit uncompressed. Which is the same as WAV. If anything, WAV is potentially better as the audio from a CD may include error correction (a good “guess”) if the reading process runs into an error (a scratch on the CD for example). All our uploads on KZread are from the original uncompressed (master) WAVs 😎

The timestamps show when tracks start; as this is a mix that doesn't necessarily mean that the previous track ends there though. We've checked the original and track 2 (in this example) does indeed start at 0:01:25 (as listed in the description), so we're not sure if that's the issue mentioned by the OP or not :-/
