This is the best drum n bass cd of all time, imo. Got the cd in 2000, I think it came free with Mixmag. I was 15. It basically paved the way for me buying decks, learning to mix, which has always been a massive part of my life since. Ultimate respect for Moving Shadow for this SEMINAL mix.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories - MSX 98 FM

Big memories from many years ago. 00.1 was epic. It's amazing to think it celebrates a decade of classics. Sheesh! That's half way to 78 rpm bakelite, yet still "Rockin' the house well...".

When I first played GTA LCS and III MSX FM was already my favorite station but ever since I recently found out Moving Shadow is a real label I've become that much more obsessed with your works. Always been a long time fan just didn't know it :)

Honestly a big reason GTA 3 is the best is because of MSX FM and RISE FM

Midnight Club 3 and GTA III/LCS is what introduced me to you I was little when it came out for the psp and PS2 maybe 4-6 years old when I heard of it I was born in 2002

So much history in this mix! I'm glad I still have my entire CD collection of these sampler series, they are pure gold!

my first encounter with this mix was from german sat tv Viva II (I live in Estonia) and there was a show where the played mixes for an hour and a friend of mine recorded this set (I think it started from the 10th track) on a VHS and I think we shredded to pieces listenening to the mix on TV :D. I think it was 2001 or summtin like that. Couple of years later got a hold of the actual CD and I still listen to it time to time. Absolute classic

The lyrics were written 10 years after the label’s formation. The label name came from owner Rob Playford noticing ‘moving shadows’ on the wall of a nightclub one night and thought that would be a cool name for a label.
