I thought Cooked Chicken bones are bad for Animals because they get brittle and shard. I was told that raw was best because it was how they would eat the bones in the wild.

Justin, I'm sure the round feeder with the weather protection is great for that, but Joel told us the long troughs are better. You always want 70% of your birds to be able to access feed at the same time.

I hope that Rebecca is feeling better and I will keep you guys in my prayers for safe travels and a great time. Unfortunately I am not qualified to farm sit yet but I am learning more everyday from you guys, Lumnah Acres, Weed em and Reap and more and I am more grateful than I can say for everything. I have chronic health issues as well and I am building our first laying flock of chickens and starting a garden. I am literally the last person in my family that anyone would expect to become any sort of farmer, backyard or otherwise, in my family but the amount of joy that comes along with wanting to run out to see things that I put into soil growing and then to get something edible back eventually, it's a very good and pure feeling. God bless!

Why do you cook the swill? Why not just give it to the pigs raw?
