@@_V.Va_ Graphics does include the art style, that's literally what "graphics" is, is the visual choices of the game. Realism *is* an aspect of the art style (And therefore graphics.), and an art movement, this is something you're taught in high school art classes.

Newcomers to the public domain are a blessing for creativity.

This has improved TREMENDOUSLY since last we saw it. You can see how much of a personality has been fleshed out in the level design and world. Will continue to keep an eye out for more

The person ostensibly said "they didn't really do anything. it's looks the same as last time we saw it" and "it's just some new maps". It was incredibly dismissive of the effort that has clearly been put into this game. A classic case of know-it-all acting like game design is easy.

@@ToiletGrenade its clearly canon to steamboat willie since the IP's public domain. the devs behind Mouse were clearly aware of Mickey Mouses IP reaching its end point so they made this game

Yeah! It takes what is arguably a flaw in hand-drawn animation (clear distinction between objects characters interact with and objects they don’t) and makes it a positive by making it so it shows the player what is interactable. Genius.

It's nice to see this art style carried over into this medium. I'm sure the original artists of this style would think this is awesome. It goes to show you that people will always appreciate the classics. To anyone out there keeping classic art styles alive, keep on going!

Everybody is talking about the art style. It's also perfect timing Disney to lose the copyright on the new year for the O.G. Steam Boat Willie Mickey Mouse.

Looks very nice in every possible way. Just wish the enemies had different death animations besides the same head coming off.

Went from a rough early but very promising project to an already pretty well looking game. Definitely looking forward to the release

Its insane how much more content there is in this trailer compared to the one we had before, it looks great. Down to the little personality of the mice reactions before being shot, dropping pianos, new cartoony weapons and down to just the newspapers is super fun to look at. Can’t wait for this game’s release!

It's so nice to see developers are still exploring the potential that rubber hose visuals offer

MOUSE is the Fleischer Brothers' answer to _DOOM,_ just like Cuphead is to action platformers like _Megaman_ and _Contra._ Imagine a turn-based RPG game with the aesthetic of the 1920s rubberhose animation.

Now that Mickey Mouse is in the public domain he should 100% be in this game

The fact that "Steamboat Willie" is now public domain property in 2024 gives this FPS indie game a whole new advantage.

The devs are making some big progress at an early state. Take all the time you need, make this game deliver!

Brilliant art direction. Now you just have to nail the gameplay, which is often an afterthought when your main selling point is a gimmick 😊

Love it. The HUD instantly reminded me of Bioshock and has a very Fallen Aces esque touch , very excited to try it out

Drinking the Cup of Coffee for the Cuphead-style hand gun was a fantastic lil reference there. Glad there's more games with this retro fleischer style being made! :D

This looks actually phenomenal!

To go from the first preview where only the sprites and a possible idea to develop on was there...to getting an actual view into that vision they had since the beginning being quite developed. Definitely something that is looking very promising now.

Would be nice to see environments follow suit with the outlined shading style but this looks incredible!

Really hope the final game has the environment looking a little more hand drawn, other than that love the character art
