Mouse Jiggler How to Mouse Mover

This is so silly because my computers are ancient & so it takes forever to upload videos from them but found this hack online & it works!

So a friend of mine asked me about this hack as her bro-in-law does this. She was told that this would only work with a laser mouse that has a red light but the laser mouse she bought on Amazon doesn't have show a red light. I'm guessing what she actually needs an optical/led mouse that shines a beam of light onto the surface, like the mouse shown in the video. I checked the comments where folks said the trick didn't work for them but I didn't see them specify what type of mouse they are using, unlike the OP.

Finally someone with common sense. I don't understand why people pay for mouse jiggling devices. If you're using an optic mouse just place the sensor on a reflective surface or what I do is move my mouse sensor to the very edge of my mouse mat and the cursor shakes around on screen by itself. Don't waste your money on jigglers.

What would be a good reflective surface? I don't use the optic mouse on a mat unfortunately as it drives me mad and my desk surface is glossy. The trick above didn't work on it, luckily I have a laser one which I can use. Another tip would be to leave your Teams on top of all windows when doing this, otherwise it'll change to Away regardless (at least it did in my case)

You can see the red light almost flash/blink to know that it's working. You should be able to see the red light moving right away when it's placed on the glass. Maybe try a glass that isn't flat down the sides, the one I use has bevels. Hope it works for you, many people left comments of different power settings to try as well =)

I lucked out and had a glass with a lot of texture in the glass and that might help but I just flipped the glass upside down and got eye level with it. Then lightly bumped the mouse around until the red light from the underneath of the mouse stayed lit up. It did take some fiddling to get it but once that light was steady on it stayed on for hours without being bumped. Hope it works for you. Cheers! =)
