Prices of radion xr30s and Atlantik full size fixtures factory direct is about the same but the power, par, and coloration, is second to none let alone the fact that the coverage of the Atlantik fixtures is a a full 12+" in all directions more than radions.

But the gateway and app are literally the worst on the market. I love the light and growth but the app is terrible. And the gateway even plugged into ethernet has to be rebooted at least twice a month. I don't even use it that much but everytime ( almost ) I have to reset the fuckin thing.

I think I'm going to have to find some more of your videos I have 4 these and not one of them will connect to the gateway

Guys love your video's and commentary, however i would not recommend removal the antenna's. based on where they are located you could be asking for corrosion.

for a red sea reefer 200xl I can choose Orphek Compact or XR15 g5 blue.. Can I really grow Acros with the Compact? Or is it just not enough light? The XR15 is also not enough but maybe more then the Compact.. what would you do?

Does anyone know what type of mount is shown at 6:45?

I love my Atlantik V4 G2's! They are absolutely awesome and have made all of my coral explode in coloration I'd never seen prior even with Radions or Aqua Illumination Hydras. The connectivity and app for the gateway honestly sucks. But it's at least to me anyway a good bad thing. It protects you from yourself in that it makes you think twice about if its worth the hassle to constantly mess with the settings which is where alot of people mess up with the programmable lighting. Once they're setup and programmed correctly, that's when we should all stop messing with the settings and let things be. People complain about all fixtures not growing coral or causing issues with their tanks when keep messing with the settings but they fail to realize they're doing it to themselves. Set it up correctly and let things be!

Agreed that the control could be easier to access/connect to. Also agreed that those reefers who set their lights up right the first time and leave them alone are more likely to be successful! 🙂

I assume you're talking about the gateway. The reason this isn't included is because you only need one per set of lights. In other words, if you have 4 Orphek lights over your tank, you only need one gateway, not four.

Hello, for a 40 breeder mix tank (80% LPS /20% SPS), which is better: 1 compact or 1 full version?

As long as you place the SPS more in the center of the tank under the light, the compact will be a fine choice for 80% LPS and 20% SPS in a 40B.

Watched the video in full great info but I will decline as I am very happy with my PopBloom A Japanese make but I bought it from a German supplier. And far more affordable cost me £390.

I would not recommend these lights.. Orphek customer service is by far the worst.. These lights are guaranteed to go bad after a year or so, and would require you to have some soldering knowledge..
