Literally made me spit out my kombucha. I just came here to say that.

I lost my beloved Tortie cat for three months and would listen to this song due to the adorable tortie in the video to motivate me. I found her!!!

I live in a City in North East England called Newcastle, its nickname is The Toon. I like to play this song and think about my home The Toon... Toon... Toon... 😂❤

First heard this on Tiny Desk through a friend who thrust an empty drawing pad in my hands and inspired me to draw while the session played off in the backround. Something just felt right in that moment - something I often have trouble with, feeling at peace - and I drew an eye, familiar though unlike I hadn't ever seen before. 'Rang Tang Ting Toon' brings me back to that moment and I absolutely love Mountain Man for allowing me such a joy. I hope one day I'm fortunate enough to see this amazing trio first hand. Much love from Scotland :)

JFC Matthew, I hope you actually know better than that. If not please ask if your local water utility or treatment plant offers tours. Or maybe pay a visit to Flint MI or one of the hundreds of other cities and countries without clean water?

05/09/2019: i got a phone call from Sonic Boom last night, telling me my copy of Iron&Wine's 'The Shepherd's Dog' had arrived-but there was something in her tone of voice that seemed to say: btw, summer's over. '…And on a bright fall morning, I'm with it…'. So today's the first day of classes, I guess I'm grateful to be back, but grateful in that ALL TEETH kinda way. in that "swim…swim.." 2:54 kinda way

31/10/2020: so the summer really is over. I bought my first Blundstones yesterday, despite years of talking shit about how square and civil they make you look. I spent the month at my desk. perhaps I'm turning square and civil? I still wake up in the morning thinking about the ghosts that used to walking these rooms, I'm still underneath the dim glow of the past. I've been telling everyone I'm anemic, which is true, but that won't let me off for being so cold, hence the Blundstones.

25/02/2024: Turns out I'm not anemic - the blood's fine, it's just the highways they flow in that's the problem. If my visa makes a last minute appearance, then I'm leaving for Nigeria today. So it goes.

These three sing beautifully and I wish I could turn my young daughters on to this kind of music, but many of the songs get a firm R rating for sexual content and this unabashed far left slant is severely off-putting. Will stick with TMBG and Pete Seeger.
