Mountain Lions Communicating In Front Of “Ava’s Camera”
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
“Ava’s camera” in the Angeles National Forest. Back in 2021, when my daughter Ava was 5 years old, we set up a camera in a remote canyon. This spot was like a messaging center for mountain lions. Both male and females would stop by to leave their scent, by scraping and urinating. This is one way these big cats communicate.
Unfortunately back in 2022, some dirtbag human, the most disgusting and destructive animal on the planet, stole this camera and we haven’t set up another one since. It’s pretty heartbreaking, frustrating and aggravating. That’s just how it goes sometimes and we just have to carry on with a better defense plan I guess. Ugh.
As always, if you ever want to donate to the cause, here’s a link where you can kindly do so. robertmartinezphotography.com...
Thank you so much to everyone out there for their continuous support after all these years.

Thank you for the video , Ava !!!! You are soooo sweet and you have an amazing father ! 🥰
So thankful for the videos you are posting. You have been getting the dream footage of wildlife. We live in Western Wyoming and we are so excited when we get a lion or a bear. Usually photos and never the close up and amazing videos you have gotten. I too have had cameras stolen and it is a bad feeling when you go to change the SD card and there in no camera there. Do you camouflage your cameras? I go the extra to use double sided tape and glue and use tree bark and pine needles and moss or whatever else is close to the camera. I have only been using the cheaper trail cameras for fear of losing another one. When I saw that Ava's camera had been stolen, I knew the feeling and I had to write to you. Keep up the great work.
👍 Ava has chosen a very active spot. Excellent intuition...a bit like Dad perhaps....yeah, Ava! This video is outstanding and just so perfect as a way to view real nature. Thank you ever so much for your work. PS: very sorry you had to experience a theft. People can be....🙄 Stay safe!
Thanks Ava👍👍😊
