North GA, has become unaffordable.. For the average Joes Thousands have moved from Florida to these areas. 5-7 years ago there was hope . We waited everything that was 200k is 700k and up these days.Our Dream was Cherry Log area

I can only imagine all the phone calls y’all are fielding from FL. Not just second homes for the 1% but reachable properties for people in FL, retirees from teaching positions, police departments and especially the military. Many have been priced out of the market. I am getting quite a few phone calls from FL and CA. Seems some people are trying to get some relief from the FL heat, and others are just ready for a change....I hear lots of growth is happening in FL with an influx of people over the last couple years. Thanks for watching!

This is very informative and forgive me as I'm still watching but I didn't really get to hear any numbers, like depreciation expectations, retention of value, things like that. I'm looking to get a $1-1.3 million home but I don't want to spend $1.3 on a 900k home. I'm looking for something I can live in for a long time if not permanent, with good education. I'm a 100% disabled vet as well and would like to use a VA loan, I don't want to say how much I make but high 100k annual has been my avg income for the past 2-3 years, it's actually expected to grow in the future which is why I'm so curious as to if the houses will come down in value, I'm either going to buy and own for what I can get if the depreciation isn't too bad (looking at it as cost of moving in early, but by 30 years at that point the house would be at least 70% higher in value), wait for a while and get something better down the line, or are prices just going to stagnate and basically what I see is what I get? Hoping for a little more clarity on the market projection of the region.

Thanks! I haven’t done any market update videos, as I focus more on the areas and in some videos like this one what you can expect to get at different price points. Generally speaking, the market is still strong and while we have seen some properties sit longer and some decrease in price over time, they’re not usually huge drops in price. Of course I don’t have a crystal ball to tell exactly what will happen with prices and appreciation in the future, the general consensus is that property continues to appreciate over the long term, even if there are some more minor dips and surges in prices.
