scottisoctobernight is actually right. At their Tiny Desk performance they mention that they had lost everything they ever made. So now for them, it's hard to come up with ways to reproduce the sounds live that they created. Because they don't remember how they made it.
I hope i can get my stuff live and it sound as epic as these 2! Much respect to Mount Kimbie!

Where did you read that?? They just do other versions of their songs live, just because it's more interesting for them as for us (the audience)

This is overwhelmingly edited and poorly filmed, but I know they use NI Maschine, Roland's SP404 and a Korg Kaosspad (version 3 I think).
That annotation is really annoying.
