im not really sure that matters... speaking from a nerd pespective, alt+j means nothing.. musically, this has nothing on people like john frusciante who can sing and or both sing properly.. people dont give cred to bands like "crippled black phoenix", which has a mix of "super" artists... so why praise this band? it can and has been done by other bands already.

Only an Alt J intro to an album can be one of your favourite songs. I remember coming home from working at a pub in 2020, it was about 4 in the morning, I decided to put on some Alt J because I hadn’t heard much of them since 2016. I played this video and when I tell you I had an eargasm to Intro that’s an understatement. I felt like it was euphoric. I played it over and over again that night. For the following few months that song was in my ear everywhere I went. This started me on my journey of obsession with Alt J. Can’t wait to see them in Dublin May 23rd.

Daredevil you and everyone else you lucky bastards LOL the way it looks right now I will never see this band Live so I will Envy those it did, I just found these guys in early 2021 how the hell does that work? Anyway I got to say it one more time this band straight up slapped me in the head the very first moment I heard them and I don't even remember how but oh my Lord what a difference what an absolute unique sound/ story and example of actual music from the core of the Soul!! these dudes flat-out do more than Rock I don't even know what to call it maybe mesmerizing??
I remember the first time I saw them live, in a small venue in Amsterdam. It was one of the best nights of my life!
