Defenitely! It is derived from a very well designed Lancer Evo X, just some degraded aesthetics, this car is going to be a classic.

I have the 2017 model and I gotta agree it's really good. Mitsubishi dealers here state the 0-62 mph in around 10 seconds. I was amazed that it cracks 9 seconds with cvt. That 2008 model must be lighter to do 7.7 seconds. That's not bad at all. The beauty in the car is the handling though. I love throwing it around roundabouts and it's fun to drive without breaking the speed limit.

Lancer was an underrated car. It looked good, and it also drove well. I liked it better than Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla, and it is a very reliable car. Mitsubishi doesn’t get the respect they deserve...

It was good for its 2007 era launch against the Civic and Corolla of the time and about 5 years after that. By 2013, all the other cars surpassed it even as they continued to sell a nearly decade old car. Blame Mitsubishi for abandoning it. Mine was incredibly reliable, but also slow and noisy. But par for the course for a late 2000s car. I don’t know how the hell they got 7.7 seconds from the 2.0 CVT which I had also.

2023 still one of the best nice looking cars

I’d love to find one of these with the 5Spd manual as a daily driver!

Find an '09 GTS as it has a 2.4L 168hp engine. I drive one and it is cheap fashionable fun!

7.7 sec for the 2.0L? That’s mad quick for an engine that only made 152 horsepower lol sheesh

They are testing the 2.4L or the 2.0L... acceleration figures sound a bit too optimistic to me.

+Juan Cortés they didn't come out with the 2.4l 4b12 until the 2009 model so yes this is the 2.0l. my manual 2.0l i timed around 7.0s 0-60 which I was surprised.

Umm the gts has a 2.4L with 180 hp????

7.7 0-60 with the 2.0L??? That sounds quick as hell to me. What's the 0-60 with the 2.4L?

TKBurst the 2.4 isn’t really that much faster it can hit 60 in like 7.2-7.8 the 2.0 usually isn’t as fast as the times they are getting because there usually like 9.0 seconds to get to 60 with the 2.0

Definitely they tested one with a manual tranny because the 2.0 cvt version cant go faster than 8.5 secs

J.Nev I kinda have to agree because the 2.0 lancer isn’t fast because the times there getting are for the 2.4 in which I have because my 2.4 is that exact same speed there’s no way that a 2.0 or many they just got lucky

@@chris3762 same I wonder how they got 7.7 seconds 0-60. From what I see it's around 9-10 seconds for the GT/GTS 2.0L model. I have a 2017 Lancer GT with the 2.0L and it does around 9 seconds. 2.4L version has 168 hp so 7.7 is maybe achievable with that engine.

I think its the manual tranny that they tested because it can get those numbers, with the cvt it can do 8.9-9.1 secs

That gas mileage is trash lol that’s the same as my MazdaSpeed3 which has more than 100 hp and 100 torque more
