Amazing performance from this engine. Had to show this video to my mom to convince her that our car is fine.

Sound of turbo!

It's actually a good engine. I tried one when renting a car on vacation. Pretty nice except for the sound.

I have a T-Cross with this engine, is a really nice car, but mine sound is better, I don't know why.

What oil for this engin?

It has got enough power though to get around. But it sounds a bit funky

Ist das jormal das der motor nach dem kaltstart mal 20 sekunden lang etwas lauter arbeitet! Hört sich an wie kettenrasseln, hat aber anscheinend ja einen riemen! Auspuffgeräusch hört sich ja auch etwas komisch an…. LG Joseph

Salli Joseph. Das ist normal. Es ist die „injection pump“ welche hat eine große pressure. Entschuldigung für die sprache haha. Es ist gleich mit 1.4tsi, gleich klingt. VG. Marian

I have it in a Polo. Many people in fact complement the sound, but it does not sounds like in the video at all
