your welcome, thanks for watching!
good video, do NOT use the front stand without the back stand down. I thought you could use the front stand without the rear, and dropped my bike.

My bike fell with the front stand down anyways. Tipped the opposite direction away from me. Honestly when taking them down just get another person to help, call a friend or a neighbour.

I google searched for a tutorial on using the rear bike stand, and saw your video first, lol. You made it seem really easy, and it may not be as dangerous as I thought. I had to do an oil change for my SV650, and wanted to keep the bike raised and levelled this time so I can accurately see the oil level through the sight glass.

Motorcycle has to be level to check oil fyi
Dude you did the best job at showing how to put my bike on the stands hands down compared to all the other videos showing the same thing. You got it from every angle and close ups helped alot man. This is my first comment ive ever left in youtube but had to be dont because it was a very easy to learn from video thanks for the help!

Back in the days when cycle cruza didn't say :Let's go for a ride! 😃
Thanks bud. I had no clue on how to use a motorcycle stand but I need one to lube my chain. Thanks for the tips Cruza!
no it's cool. I didn't have any probs with it rubbing on the wheel, you just have to adjust the brakes so that the edge of the bracket just meets the end of swing arm. My new bike has spools so I will be getting a better stand.
I'm glad I bought a set of pit bull stands. I'll never find a reason to by another set to replace them. A big plus to my front stand is that pit bull makes an attachment for the front stand to lift the bike from the steering stem, which has been a big plus in the garage. I've used it for fork maintenance 4 different times in 10 years. I'm a bit shocked the CBR250R doesn't accommodate swing arm spools.
Thank you so much for this video. It was very helpful. On my first bike so I'm learning all these new tools, equipment, etc...
Great explanation, I was questioned my self and your video answer me my needs. Thank you!
Holy crap that’s an oldie , thank you brother, changing my oil this week!
My bike tipped to the right today lowering the rear. It fell over lightly ,no damage. I will make sure next time its leaning to the left side more so the kickstand can catch it. Learning experience for sure. Thanks for this video. It looked easy the way you showed it.

Tipped over my brand new 390 Adventure and broke the right handguard doing the same thing. Lesson learned. Guess why I'm watching this video? Lol
Man there's no way I'd put the weight of the bike on my exhaust like that. I don't know if it's bad for the bike or not but I know it would concern the hell out of me. I don't even like putting any pressure down from the top on my exhaust with my foot.
@bikerlad3138
2 жыл бұрын
Depends on weight my 125 and 250 weigh about 140kg It can hold weight on exhaust but my 600 weighs 220kg so definitely cannot lift with exhaust
Thanks very much! I didn't know how it was going to fit or where to place it on my CBR125!
Thank you men for that video, i was thinking about motorcycle stands and handles in it, and HOW THEY WORKS. Now im 100% sure to buy it after your video, thank you.

I have a cbr250 also, this video is a godsend as it's exactly what I was looking for.
1:43 - Actually on the left side the bracket is sandwiched between the swingarm and wheel. If you spin the back wheel, it will take off the rubber coating on the bracket, which may scratch up or damage the wheel. On the right side, as you mentioned, the stock exhaust is going get all scratched and the weight of the bike is actually resting on it as well (not good + off-balance). I'm returning this stand, going to get spool adapters or drill holes for the spools instead.
thank you for the video. I always thought that black arm which connected to wheel is aluminium fragile object. I have this bike too *brofist*
Thanks man, the best video I've came across hot to use stands.
May I ask, I'm new to motorcycle paddock stand.. I feel there's a lot of pressure on front wheel pushing it down while on rear paddock stand which never happens on conventional main/center stand. Are paddock stands generally safe for the suspensions and tires for storing the bike, like I'm just using the bike once or twice a week. thank you guys
yo cycle Cruza does the stand pick up a 05 cbr600rr stock with me just buying the same stand u have and no attachments for the wheels to connect to the stand
Very helpful video and explanations, especially the close-ups. Much appreciated.
Just realized i have a front bike stand. Can i swap the brackets out and use it for the rear????
I'm having a little trouble with mine for the back. Since the bike is on a lean from being on it's own stand, the swing arm stand tends to slide down the swing arm when the bike straightens upright and the bike lands back on it's own stand, i find getting someone to hold the handlebars to keep the bike upright then using the stand and it works fine, any suggestions??
thank you for the explanation! also - the white socks in the flip flops are just marvelous :D
Thank you for the video, this helped a lot. At 3:02 you show us what the bike looks like on the stand from afar, I had to watch that part thrice because you quickly moved closer. Just a hint or future videos, please hold the shot for 4 seconds before moving around so us noobs get a chance to see what you are doing! Thanks Again!
Can you remove the front tyre while putting the stand on.
I'm commenting just for the intro before the video. "Cyyyycleee Cruuuuzzza"....in alternating left and right channels. LOL.
2011 Honda CBR 250R was my first. Love that bike!
glad I came across this video , I'm new to motorcycles. I was thinking I was going to have to do some drilling and install spools.
Thank you for making this video, very helpful!
Thanks for the quick tutorial. It will come in handy. Thanks again.
thanks for sharing and wow I didnt know you started out on a CBR250. I currently ride a CBR300R. curious to know when you upgraded to a bigger bike...?
Hi can anyone tell me of a rear stand that don't touch/hit the exhaust on a CBR 125r & 250r like this stand.
Hi, how do you install the swingarm paddock on a Honda CBR250R. I can't find a spot to insert the swingarm. Can you post a close up video? Thanks! Oh I have a Venom purchase from amazon.
Great Vid bud, lots of help! That exhaust would drive me crazy
cut and add a spacers (wood,metal, rubber) to each side of the rear stand so it doesnt sit or your exhaust
Thank youuuuuuuuuu!!!!! Seems simple enough but it really isn't. I'm glad I found this video!
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
do you prefer this method or the center dirt bike stand?
Keep in mind that this is a very small, light bike, with a grab bar. It's not as easy with a ZX12R, 'Busa, etc., and not easy without a grab bar or seat strap. For bigger bikes, try to get a friend or family member to hold the handlebars from the front to balance it.
Get the pit bull rear stand. The front stand was $70, I made sure not to cheap out the second time around. I bought the rear stand first.
Thanks for the heads up on using a universal stand. Thought about going to harbor freight but I'm going to spend a little extra $$ and get a stand that is suited for my make and model.

Thanks for the video, beautiful motorcycle!
Thanks my man I hope you upgraded to lease a 600 from that 250 🤣 I'm a subscribe cause your the first video to show me how to use the lift Let me know what you riding now
I'd recommend using a triple tree stand for the front. It's a hell of a lot safer than a stand that grabs hold of the forks or axle.
Nice thanks for that tip, very helpful!
Excellent reviews...Keep them up!
thanks dude...........that was very usefull
Nearly dropped my Aprilia using one of those Chinese stands. It flexed and bent so bad. I spent 3 times as much and moved to the best one. PITBULL. Worth every penny. Dropping an Aprilia to the ground costs big $$$$. Can't take the chance.
Do any motorcycle stand work for any sports bike?
I would cut a piece of 1x2 maybe 4" long and place it as a shim in the bracket to lift the swing arm, it will take the weight off the exhaust.
Can’t you use the rear stand for the front tire is well?
What's the weight limit? I have 2000 Honda Valkerie which is 600-700 lbs range.
Can u use them with dirtbikes
can you like take one around with you and use it at work in case it gets windy
Great I was struggling a bit but your video confered wot I thought was correct way to use front stand
That rear stand is reason enough to not buy cheap stands. Picking the bike up by the exhaust is a terrible idea.

@peterlandry865

Clutchcargo you need to modify your stand so it doesn't lift the bike by the pipe...... nothing wrong with cheap if it works just as good.... but until you fix it it doesn't work just as good..... poor pipe

thanks man, appreciate the video!
Thanks for the tips!!
Great video, Thank you for the tutorial. I am subscribing to your channel.
Thank you very helpful
thanks. no problem resting it on the stand.
Hi, Beautiful Gorgeous Bike... Sorry to Bother you... Who makes your Front and Rear Stands... Where did you buy Them... Are the Stands for Front and Rear the same and just need to put on the Right Attachments, or Different... I like the ones you have... I Have a 1999 VFR800FI and a 2001 CBR600F4I so it would be Great if they could work for Both Bikes... Have Fun Riding, be safe...

Exactly, especially on a brand new $30,000 bike, I can't do it
Can I do this with a cruiser bike??????
I'm too cheap for a stand. I just ratchet it up to the roof of my garage lol!!! The rafters are 2x12's. It holds fine lol.
you are wonderful , very useful video thanks
Great video, thank you!
great video! thanks!
If your bike has a center stand, then you could buy a Park n Move dolly, which raises both the front and rear off the ground and doesn't damage any part of the bike. But they're $200.
you scratched your exhaust. but I realise this is an old video. you have improved a lot
Thank you, made it look simple bruv.
I have a 500. Are stands harder to use the bigger and heavier the bike?

+ashley burgess I'd say so. I just bought this today and can't even get my bike up. Might be the setup, but mine is also a 750.

Good point, the front moves
Thanks for the help
You do it so easily. I can’t do it without help from someone else. Maybe it’s me, maybe it’s my particular rear spooler stand (vortex)
hey is this good for storing a bike for about 4 or 5 months?
@xorbe2
9 жыл бұрын
2cool0 Yes, better to keep the weight off of the tires. Place the bike where it is unlikely to be bumped, away from children and pets, etc.
thanks!
I only paid $25 but I'm going to return it I think. Hope it didn't sound like was knockin' you or your video - thank you for posting it, it's spot-on when it comes to this stand. Just be careful of that left wheel rubbing the bracket (it's why I'm returning mine). The combo of that + the exhaust makes placement less than ideal. Thanks man-
If anyones concerned with scratching up their pipe with this method (not that it matters too much since its underneath where you can't really see), wait for your pipe to cool down and just wrap it up with an old towel before using your stand.
@paxonearth
Жыл бұрын
Yes. I was just about to suggest placing a small towel between the stand and exhaust.
does this work on Harley Davidson bikes?
@DucknOnTheStreets07

you can use a center stand on Harley
Thanks it’s useful.
Do you keep the bike in neutral or 1st gear when using stands?
@PokeyCottons
7 жыл бұрын
Neutral. Never put it in first gear because of the risk of getting a finger caught between the chain & sprocket, resulting in serious injury.
The handles on the back of the hondas are the best thing to have.All motorcycles should have them.
