My bike fell with the front stand down anyways. Tipped the opposite direction away from me. Honestly when taking them down just get another person to help, call a friend or a neighbour.

I google searched for a tutorial on using the rear bike stand, and saw your video first, lol. You made it seem really easy, and it may not be as dangerous as I thought. I had to do an oil change for my SV650, and wanted to keep the bike raised and levelled this time so I can accurately see the oil level through the sight glass.

no it's cool. I didn't have any probs with it rubbing on the wheel, you just have to adjust the brakes so that the edge of the bracket just meets the end of swing arm. My new bike has spools so I will be getting a better stand.

I'm glad I bought a set of pit bull stands. I'll never find a reason to by another set to replace them. A big plus to my front stand is that pit bull makes an attachment for the front stand to lift the bike from the steering stem, which has been a big plus in the garage. I've used it for fork maintenance 4 different times in 10 years. I'm a bit shocked the CBR250R doesn't accommodate swing arm spools.

Man there's no way I'd put the weight of the bike on my exhaust like that. I don't know if it's bad for the bike or not but I know it would concern the hell out of me. I don't even like putting any pressure down from the top on my exhaust with my foot.

1:43 - Actually on the left side the bracket is sandwiched between the swingarm and wheel. If you spin the back wheel, it will take off the rubber coating on the bracket, which may scratch up or damage the wheel. On the right side, as you mentioned, the stock exhaust is going get all scratched and the weight of the bike is actually resting on it as well (not good + off-balance). I'm returning this stand, going to get spool adapters or drill holes for the spools instead.

May I ask, I'm new to motorcycle paddock stand.. I feel there's a lot of pressure on front wheel pushing it down while on rear paddock stand which never happens on conventional main/center stand. Are paddock stands generally safe for the suspensions and tires for storing the bike, like I'm just using the bike once or twice a week. thank you guys

I'm having a little trouble with mine for the back. Since the bike is on a lean from being on it's own stand, the swing arm stand tends to slide down the swing arm when the bike straightens upright and the bike lands back on it's own stand, i find getting someone to hold the handlebars to keep the bike upright then using the stand and it works fine, any suggestions??

Keep in mind that this is a very small, light bike, with a grab bar. It's not as easy with a ZX12R, 'Busa, etc., and not easy without a grab bar or seat strap. For bigger bikes, try to get a friend or family member to hold the handlebars from the front to balance it.

Just be careful of that left wheel rubbing the bracket (it's why I'm returning mine). The combo of that + the exhaust makes placement less than ideal. Thanks man-
