I’m with you on the ZX7. I bought a green one new in 1990, and bought a friends silver/black H2 model in 1993. One of the few 90s era bikes I would like to have again. Nice collection!

A few well priced future classic bikes now for the price of a Z1 ,, having had one when they were sensible and usable ,,my k6gsxr 1000 and my SV 1000 cost less than a Suzuki GT 750 and both under 15000 miles,,nice bikes in your garage,,there to enjoy ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland 😁

Thank you Cecil, very kind of you.. I quite agree, prices for certain bikes are getting crazy, and ends with bikes not being used. All my bikes are bikes I really like and enjoy, especially the ZXR. I have added to the garage now with ‘91 CBR1000F.. a bike I have always secretly liked but never tried..so finally put it right by buying a nice example with 23k miles 😊 Thanks for the comment, enjoy your bikes and ride safe 👍🏼

The ZX-12 is worthy to be in a museum . Rare to see one with low miles! Congrats on the acquisition. Mine have very few marks and about 8k miles. Mine also have the original break in period sticker on the clock.

I had a ZXR 750 H2 back in 1992 as my first proper bike and loved it to bits, such a beautiful looking bike even tho somewhat uncomfortable! I also had a brand new TL1000R in 1998 in the correct colours (blue and white) which was probably the best bike I've ever had. I had a 2002 R1 after that but missed the V twin sound so I bought another TL1000R in black. I just don't get the same feeling about modern bikes now and as soon as possible I'll be buying another TLR.

Buying a TLR brand new i can imagine must have been brilliant! They are such charismatic bikes, and the best sounding V twins in my opinion.. I have previously owned a 916 and the Aprilia RSV, and the TL sounds better than both of them! Hope you get another one.. Thanks for commenting 👍🏼

A very nice collection, but no Yamahas! My collection are mostly Yamahas with a Suzuki GS500 winter hack and a troublesome CB360G Honda from 1973. My sports collection are all Yamahas, FZR600R, FZR600, YZF750R and FZR1000 Genesis. I also have a 1972 DT3 250 Enduro and an FJ1200 tourer. Not as low mileage as yours, though.

Thanks my friend.. No Yamahas for the moment 😉 I am looking for a nice 'pink' YZF 750.. I have added a '91 CBR1000F since I uploaded this.. The issue I have is space. So many bikes I want, but so little space 🤦‍♂️😄 That's an amazing collection of bikes you have too! I had both the FZR1000 Genesis & EXUP.. Brilliant bikes! Thanks for commenting 👍

@waynester71 My YZF750R is not the Pinky. Mine is Gunmetal Grey, Black and Purple. The Pinky seems to be the most valuable one. I was lucky enough to rent a council lock up. It is shaped like a slice of Dairylea, so I can park four bikes in the back. I also have a 10x12 shed in the garden for my workshop. I have a block insurance for my bikes. It's a pity that we couldn't get a block road tax too!

nice bike collection, just a bit of a fit in a small room.. no room to fix up honda... like your tl and zxr with vacuum cleaner hoses as I remember...funny you have a rag on number plates - maybe you ride them on often on the road. all good as I live in australia ..

Thanks mate 👍🏼 Yes space is a bit tight. Originally the plan was to have just 3 bikes max.. but I can’t help myself 😄 I can just about move around them to do small jobs, but when I need more space I just move a couple out. The reg plate covers are because we have a lot of plate cloning here in the UK.. Once the weather improves I’ll be cracking on with the Honda 👍🏼

have you still got the carbon Akro's for the RSV? I've got a 1,600 miler, out the crate condition, 2004 Factory, was used as a display model for many years. Been looking for a set of can's. That ZXR 750 is fantastic. The GSXR 750 I bought a brand new one in 1998, my first big bike.

Nice collection. I've had 2 TLR's in blue 1997 rrw models. They are awesome. 24 miles to the gallon when ridden hard i found. Also if ridden hard and braking hard whilst cranked over lets say approaching a large favourite roundabout the rrw model would actually stall. I believe they sorted that out on the model after with twin pumps rather than one? A bit concerning that when it first happened. The GSXR SRAD's I've never owned as I prefer the models before them. I currently have the WR750 and WP1100 The best bike I've ever owned was a canary yellow 2001 RSVR with all the extras. 140 beautiful and manageable horse power. Your H2 ZXR looks nice. I have a couple of them. A red H1 and the obligatory green H2. Very very very temperamental things. But I love them as you feel super privileged owning and riding them. Standard is best in my eyes. Great video thank you for uploading it. Oh one last thing... I have the fireblade rrt model that is prior to yours. And lasty... What's your opinion of the ZX9R B models?

I hope I've not come across as a hooligan. In the 1990's I suppose I was but I'm 56 now and don't bend like I used to. Also you'd be a fool going mad on these delapidated road surfaces now... Not to mention all the surveillance cameras that are about. So yes... And finally... I'd appreciate your opinion on those first generation ZX9R's please.

Hey, thanks for the great comments. It sounds like you have a very nice collection of bikes yourself there! I had a '98 TL-R 20 years ago and really liked the bike so finding this '99 TL in lovely condition was really pleasing. They really are great bikes. I prefer it over the RSV. The SRAD is a lovely bike to ride, & in these colours..great to look at.. but i think i agree with you, i also prefer the earlier models, slingshots etc.. A nice 1100 could well be on the shopping list. The ZXR is my favourite bike & the last i would sell. I've had a few over the years.. i bought my first H2 ZXR way back in 1990, so its a bike close to my heart. Its currently having the carbs rebuilt ready for summer. I have also purchased a complete H2 exhaust system & correct silencer for it (finally). So that will be fitted soon. Absolutely, standard is the way. All my bikes if not already fitted with their standard exhausts..i have them stored so they can be fitted. Really appreciate your comment and hearing about your bikes too 👍

@@colinmaddocks9352 Absolutely not.. as a 51 year old myself, it sounds like we're pretty similar in bike taste & riding style.. I left tearing around like a loony many years ago now lol I enjoy just collecting the bikes that i loved and lusted after as a younger man.. late 80s, 90s & early 00s bikes are my main interest. New bikes dont really interest me quite as much. Love the first model ZX9R.. in my opinion, its the best looking. Especially in green, white & purple.. with that standard exhaust. It may have been heavier than the later bikes.. but its the model ZX9R i would choose. I was looking at purchasing just this model a while back.. but then found the low mile ZX12R so bought that. But a B1 ZX9R would still be high on my list... Edit to add.. I have just purchased another bike, a 1991 CBR1000F, all original, lovely condition, 23k miles.. I have always wanted one since my early 20s.. I thought it might make a nice bike to ride that offers a bit of comfort.. & i might even convince the wife to come out on the back! 😄 Ride safe my friend 👍

We’re not the best drivers making it a bad combination.
