Motor ejects from RC Plane emergency crash landing

This was a scary one... The firewall screws and glue all separated from the fuselage at altitude. The propeller imbedded itself into the front of the wing. I was able to get it away from the park you see, full of kids. When coming in, I was at full up elevator, the drag from the motor hanging out was too much to allow a smoother landing. The plane is a Harbor Freight P51 with a 35-42 dys 1250kv motor, 60 amp esc, 1800mah 4s lipo battery, 11x5.5 prop. It has a carbon fiber rod in the wing to support the vast amount of weight placed in this small plane.

Wow! For those interested to see the moment the motor pops out, skip to 2:55.

The camera is made by Midland, it's available at Wal-Mart for $89 or so. Its a knock off go-pro, only 720p, but it's a much smaller front profile. I like it a lot for on board flight.

Sorry that your motor broke loose after you repaired from last mishap. Nice flying though to recover. Is she salvagable?

The very first p51, the one Mathis plays with now. I just commented on my old KZread video, I guess those go to Google plus now??? This is weird.
