To each his own. I prefer definitely the original cap as it suits more the overall style of the bike 😉.

I love the seat, is that a stock Triumph or you had it custom made ?

Thanks, I sent my stock seat to Sargent cycles and they did a custom one for me. Included the triumph logo on the back as well to make it look stock.

@@2wheelAdv I am going to try it out on my Bobber to fill the gap and hide the filler lip. Not sure if it will work as the depression around the filler looks smaller on the Bobber than the Thruxton, so this will be a test!

Is this just their regular cap or is there one specifically one for 1200xe? I didn't see one with the XE/XC listed in fitment.

I believe it's just the regular cap that fits the Triumphs. I bought it from E Bay and it said it would fit the Scrambler.

Yeah man, they make a ton of different colors and styles. They are also making a ring to cover up those areas I mentioned.

Hmm, I guess I’m different than your other commenters. I liked the video, but dislike the replacement cap. Styling wise - I prefer the original.

Hehe, it’s all good. Motone makes a fancy version of what I took off. Basically a better finish. I might eventually switch to that.

The original is so much better looking and in turn with the bikes style.
