For the quote at 4:13, I think what they meant was that, possibly, when they were younger, they interviewed for a position at this business and were rejected. Then, motivated by this failure, they started their own business and hustled until their business was big enough to where they could buy the company that turned him down several years ago, thus becoming the boss. This is just my take on the quote, and I think your take is also good (no hate). Keep it up! :)

I saw a post on reddit not that long ago from some dude who had this friend he saw every few years, who was super into the whole grind culture thing and never got more than like 4 or 5 hours of sleep everynight, travelled the world but everywhere he went he just worked on his laptop, he never actually explored anywhere or did anything, just worked and worked and worked. the guy making the post guessed he was the only person who was actually a friend to this guy, who wasn't just a work connection or something. the guy dropped dead age 35 from the stress and lack of sleep, the guy writing the post felt he was probably the last person to actually see this dude. it was really tragic, like. the guy had money but didn't have a life, he was saving up to retire early i think but then just died because of the hustle lifestyle before he had the chance to enjoy anything he'd achieved. just goes to show, waiting to enjoy your life isn't worth it. work-life balance is more important than most people are aware
