I think he just couldn’t gather his thoughts well and blurted something he shouldn’t have . Otherwise he would have had just snatched the baby away and put for adoption. He still has his daughter’s back, and is helping her in every criminal proceeding step and with fir and stuff, which is a harrowing case in India. I wish I could have kept my faith in the judiciary system, support the laws of our ountry and believe in courts. But when I see at the sufferings of the poor people who believed in the system, I understand why our frustrated society is refusing to comply and take the law in their own hands.

If anyone's curious about what happened, in 2017 the victim got married to the rapist by the instruction of the village elders. What's more horrifying, the rapist stated "I have made a mistake even God can't forgive, so I will take care of her to correct my mistake". That's a confession right there and he's getting a child bride as an award for honesty. Sickening.

Imagine going through this and it’s your father that has to hide his face and not the rapist’s father whose son did it. If i come across these people mujhse bhi galti ho jayegi aur ye sab jal jane hai mere hantho.

Mr. Judge, how much money did the accused and his family members pay you?

If he left the house it means that he has done something...shame on his parents...if they are like that, how can we expect him to behave.

Today I watched this video, it was made 3 years ago. I want to know what happened after that? Where are they? And more importantly, where is our prestigious LAW AND ORDER? Why is this the end to every story? Hating the delay the victims have to go through😡😡

It takes time and money...and u can even manage to change test result with money..

Law must be made for rape accused to not be bailed in any situation and if found guilty...must be punished in front of the nation so that no single person dare to do such sin.

I feel so sad what happened to your daughter a beautiful innocent child and to your family. A injustice for sure...I hope that all will be well and that you have love and joy in life...

Recently a case happened in telangana...100kms away from Hyderabad..a girl aged 15 gave birth to a baby boy..and she got killed herself..no one knew how she got pregnant..and the child was thrown away uptill the govt has taken the child custody...these needs to be taken on a serious note

honestly speaking i'm amazed to see the accused's father smiling away with no shame or guilt in his eyes. It's horrid to be a woman in this country for god's sake . It's just so ironical that in a country where we worship so many goddesses , we cant even respect a girl. What does it take to respect each other? Its just outrageous . I'm speechless .

Victim's father was thinking of killing her own daughter... But can't kill because he would also be arrested then... And Rapist's father was saying,"mere bete ko fasaya ja rha h " And that lady police officer.. Was not even writing the testimony.. And this is the country we r living in... Shame!!!

The accused father is like "we will accept if it's proved their child" huh what non sense .

In this modern age, a DNA would prove who is the father of the baby, if the DNA comes back (provide the system is fair and not corrupt, like we know it is) and the alleged rapist is the father, he should be severely punished, (castrate him so he won't violate another child), and sent to prison to serve hard labor

I really love my country india and I am proud of the progress it is making day by day, however, I am equally astonished by the heartless cruel behaviour of men towards women, though, not all men are the same, many are pathetic...

We as a society have failed our women!😔 No point in accusing men of rape, or gunning them down for their crime. These men are brought up in this very society we live in. Every police, doctor, lawyer who fails to stand by a survivor irrespective of her social status or religion is a product of our sick society. We as a society need to refine our thoughts or no daughter of ours is safe..

Is there a follow on the case after this video was made? I hope justice for her.

This is the reason poor parents dont let their daughters go outside of the house in many rural areas. Rape is real only for the victim and her family. Everyone is so corrupt that they cannot get the justice. Even the most highlighted case 'Nirbhaya' took almost 5 years. This is also the main reason why many families don't let their daughters to report the rape cases in India because they know about the sufferings and shame they will face.

What makes the dad want to kill his daughter? Is he out of his mind??

Its so heart wrenching to hear stories of this kind...I feeling like crying bitterly...how can we be dependent on the administration and judiciary powers when such incidents take place and there are many of this kind it's just that they don't complain and when they do...this is what ensues

Just shocking, doesn't matter poor or rich (Bollywood). The son never wrong and the father will stand by them. I wonder what the outcome was??!

Is nt there a number of ways to prove if the child is his ... When corruption rules - justice is denied..
