Why the hell did she still have her kids if she had 8 cases? CPS is partial responsible. Maybe if they are sued enough they will make changes. Disgusting that they gave her a plea deal. It should be life or at the very least the full 45. Half of that is a slap in the face.

Yup. Who the hell wants to sign up to work on CPS, be mentally abused and fd up for life with the workload and emotional damage. Sure CPS drops the ball lots of times, but social workers are treated like trash, they’re overworked, underpaid, and everyone shits on them when they’re probably at their wits end and hoping for a better job where they aren’t constantly blamed for everything. The only way to stop this is to hire more people and the only way that will happen is by raising not only new comer’s salaries, but also giving bonuses and raising current employees salaries. CPS does what they can with what they have. Isn’t CPS funded by taxes? Nobody wants to pay taxes, that’s socialism and whatnot.
