SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) - The mother of a 12-year-old boy who died after being swept away in the Provo River has launched a petition for increased safety measures along the water.
Finnley died at the hospital nearly two hours after he fell into the river on June 8 and was carried four miles downstream. The river was running at 177% of normal at the time of the incident.
