Animal control should be feeding them, it's their job to protect and care for animals. They make enough money to be able to drive around and leave food, and water. Thankfully a human took from his income to help.

God bless you, Tammy and also Buffy, it is wonderful to feed stray or feral cats, and helps so much more if you can also neuter/spay them. If more folks would just do that to their own outdoor cats (and dogs!) there would be so much less misery & starvation for those precious animals. My husband & I also care for a number of cats that way. Since we lost all 3 of our dogs within two months a couple of years ago, we decided not to have any more dogs altho we love them so much. We're afraid as it is that we may not outlive all our cats. Stray animals have a hard time in the world, we animal lovers just have to step up & care, don't we?

Yes I live in Mexico andthere is large feral cat populations all over. On my street I have trapped and fixed 28 cats so far. I catch and release. Yes now I am currently feeing about 15 cats a day. But no more babies:)))

@Astrid Kelly but what do you do in a city that's populated with stray cats? You're going to run out of space, resources, and then it becomes a hoarding problem if you can't find homes for every cat you rescue. Yes, we want to help every stray animal we see, and if he has the resources then he should do what we want him to do and that is take them with him. But he may not even have those resources. We should be thankful that he's even feeding the cats and giving them attention, hopefully he'd take them to a vet and spay/neuter them at the very least to help with population, but he may not even have the ability to do that safely either.

That's so scary for them to be right on the street with cars. Breaks my heart to think of any of them getting hurt or worse. Would be great to get them to better places. They are all so beautiful and makes you want to save every stray cat that you see, especially when they are so friendly as these are.

We live across a University with dormitories.. I have been able to save four homeless kittens .. I took them all in to a Vet to check them out... get the necessary shots and be neutered ..they all get along and are sweet cats

That's what we need more of from Local Governments! If they would put out the food then gather them up for Spaying and/or Neutering we could help bring down the Feral/Homeless Animal Population. As far as I'm concerned ANYONE who would Throw Out/Dump ANY Animal should have to Serve a MANDATORY 30 days Behind Bars and MANDATORY Community Service at the Animal Shelter in their area! We need more EMPATHY in Our World 🌎 Bless the animals 🐈🐈‍⬛🐕🐩🐱🐶 and those who Care for them. 🙂☮

Actually,these types of cats are used to living on the street in Turkey.They are not like scottish,british cats.They like being free.even if you adopt them,They will try to run away.Most of people feed them on the streets or in front of the shops,buildings.

@@egeakarahan7656 you are right. These are feral cats. Europeans don't understand that not all cats have chubby structure. For eg the Arabian Mau, they are not chubby cats. Also they are hard to socialise. I have been feeding cat family since March and they are still scared of me.

@@amnahaque9058 Are the cats in this video Arabian Maus? They look like regular shorthairs to me. I don't think this is about their bone structure - if you can see their ribs and their shoulder blades protrude like that, they're too skinny.

Very true. Most boroughs in Istanbul (where this video was taken) offer a neutering service, but sometimes it's not easy to capture the cats and they inevitably fall through the net. How do I know it's Instanbul? Car registrations here start with 34.

It's Istanbul, the city of cats. Lots of them on the streets. People leave them be. There are cruel persons, of course, most are kind to them, like this bloke here.

That's generous of you. They look thin & hungry poor thing but they are also frightened by human approach.

Thank You so much for helping all those precious kitties! I do the same around my neighborhood. I make sure I always have a few cans of kitty food in my purse just in case I see any kitties that are hungry and if I don't, I go and buy some and feed them before going on my way. Thank you for your kindness. They are all beautiful, sweet things! They just need help. 1 meal a day will keep them from starving. Please help them find homes. I feed an average of 20 cats a day....someone has to help them. People dispose of them like garbage. I had 14 neutered last year and 2 this year. I go without sometimes, to help out the situation in my hometown. We need more caring people!

Thank you for feeding these hungry kitties. I wish that there were more people like you. My late husband and I rescues feral cats for years by feeding them to partially tame them, have them spayed or neutered and find homes for them. Over the years, we probably saved hundreds.
