Remember having a conversation with a lady I worked with back in the 80s. She grew up in Maidstone and was a teenager during the second World War. Her memories of Maidstone during WW2 were fascinating. Do you know of any books or other videos about Maidstone during the second World War?
Did you spot the ice house and cable track! Also mines under mote park - so much history! Also a firing hole in a wall on School Lane :-)
