Mostly disappointing! | May's reading

Every month I try and find that perfect balance between good and not so good. I have to be honest when I say that I am not sure I managed that in May.
Between the disappointments and the surprises, there's a lot to cover. I read YA fantasy, odd time travel sci-fi romance, F1 romance and a massive hit that really didn't get me where I wanted to go.
Have you read any of these books? If so, what do you think? Remember, these opinions are my own...

Thank you - I try and make them entertaining, even when the books aren't always that amazing...I am keeping my fingers firmly crossed about this month.

I've heard mostly good things about Just for the Summer, but a few critical reviews as well. I really liked her book Part of Your World, so I'm hoping to like this one too. I'm still waiting in line for it at the library.

I am tempted to pick up another. I need to find a few others at some point.

Sport romances are a thing? How did I not know?!? Oh yea...I don't care for them. I appreciate this info. Thank you!

Yes, they are a rather big thing, especially if they're about ice hockey (apparently).

Can you make an episode on the Coraline book and other of Neil Gaiman’s books? I subbed btw!

I do love Gaiman. I have a few on my reread list for this year, so keep an eye out. It's the anniversary of Stardust this year, so absolutely will be looking at these again.
