It seems obvious that although the families of the victims need to read their feelings, it gives the killers an opportunity to inflict even more horror on the families. If someone in my family was shot dead, there is no way I would even want to see the murderer...let alone read a statement and see the killers smile or hear any words.

I stopped watching for that reason. I shouldn't even have clicked on it in the first place. Morbid curiosity is a bad thing. It's a big part of the psychopath's psychological diet. They know that even from prison they'll be able to continue inflicting horror due to videos like this.

Losing a loved one violently is also a death sentence for the rest of the family. The trauma involved is so high, the brain has to come up with a way to cope with such pain. Believe it or not, as bad as it is, any type of closure is better than none. Even if the murderer is remorseless and smug about it.

I know in some places they have a small enclosed booth, I believe they should all have that, I'm amazed that they still let some people sit with no cuffs, they should sit cuffed in an enclosed booth with headphones to hear and a switch for the people in the court room to only hear yes or no, and I agree and in my opinion there would be no statement by the killer that would help in the victims healing process, they should learn then and there that they are no longer a member of free society.

They are visible in advance, maybe we need to ask why so many heads in the sand?! What planet do people live on?? Oh yes, the center of the Earth.. I see that now. We have the knowledge available to us now & it is wide spread. Dr. Hugh Missildine wrote a book in 1963 that addresses childhood trauma and its effect on ppl's lives. Some of us go on to help others. The truth is: I could have gone either way. I am glad I took my childhood torture and used it to help people. My mothers goal was to push me to suicide before I could tell her dirty secrets... she killed my sister. I nour house it wasn't safe to love ANYTHING, including each other. Have I dreamed of revenge.. Yes. I am however better than that. I will not waste another minute of time on that thought, or any thought of the monster who birthed me. *Fun fact for the general public: Think before you speak when someone says their childhood was beyond one's imagination. STOP denying us!! Denial is fuel for rage.

All that still exists today. Protect yourself, your loved ones from the pull of greed, money, selling poison to those in the grip of addiction, the Mafia and mayhem they created. Are we immune from that? Randall is not the brightest bulb. If he wanted to see his son, he should’ve respected the restraining order, tried to better himself during the length of the order, and show he is willing to co-parent with his ex wife if he was able to get some custody. But he decided to be a demon and kill his wife, landing him in jail and unable to see his son ever again
